This is why TV is not an ideal way to conduct political discourse, they guys cannot stay on tract or on subject. It started as a discussion about the healthcare bill, and instantly turned to foreign policy, then housing, then regulation. Those are good subjects, and should be discussed, but one at a time so real points and discourse can be made.

Yes corporations are branches of government because they sued to legalize lobbying in the late 1800's. They made themselves "persons" with "persons rights" through the legal system, forcing their will on the people. Corporations are branches of government, but they are really the executive branch that has the real control. The president is bound by many rules and is fought by congress at every turn. No, you give an intelligent reply on his policies. I've given you my interpretation of them. What he promotes is not much different than government in the old west. If you don't see that you're an idiot and don't know anything. Prove me wrong, I'd love the challenge.

The West was mild, not wild. More death and destruction occurred in the East than the Anarchy parts of the west until States started claiming lands and intervening.

1870-85: 45 homicides. 3 per year. The whole mythology of the "wildest" part of the "wild" west, rest in 3 murders per year. The deaths you can see in a few seconds of gunfight in most westerns.

Will you include some of the big depressions that happened in the old west? How many people went hungry? Bring up some of the unemployment numbers from the "panics" (=depression recessions of years gone by), before the Federal Reserve. Check out the depression of 1893, 1837, 1819. If people think that "hands off" policies are going to change the ups and downs of economics they are absolute fools.

In economy there will be always ups and downs, but it is funny that the depressions you point out were milder than the "Fed depressions". And at the end of the 19th century you could buy more goods and services with a dollar that at the beggining of it.
Could you say the same now with a 1913 post Fed, 98% devalued dollar?

Hands off policies create violence, it's human nature and the inner evil that needs control. However that control should be in the form of the constitutional constraints NOT the patriot act. The patriot act is throwing the baby out with the bath water.
I don't know that the depressions were milder, perhaps were shorter... However, I don't want any system that unemployes me for a short or long term. Something else must be created.

98% devalued currency, yet people are living better than they ever have until now. Yes there is manipulation of inflation through the money supply. Money would need to be backed by more than just precious metals, the population wouldn't be supported by a currency made from metals. There would need to be a stringent factor attaching the currency to all non perishable commodities.

People satisfy their needs consuming goods and services. The only difference between private money, freedom money, money chosen by the people ie gold, and fake goverment money foced onto people using violence, is that with the inmense progress producing good and services that comes with liberty, with private money, money worth more, and with fake money govement can rob at will.

"Some" people were living better in 1913. I read history books to learn whether we are living better today than then. Today we have social programs, health programs, to help people during hard times. What did people have in 1913. Are you proposing there was no unemployment in 1913?
Believe it or not the US dollar is backed by something and that is oil. The world is trading oil in the US green back, that is why it hasn't collapsed up til now. It will collapse when that changes though.

Ron Paul would have done well under Darwin, survival of the fittest, no intervention. Not much different than old England, the people with money and influence kept it in the family, the US has morphed into that model short the monarchy. Free market is a myth, it's corrupt just as much as government is.

Free Market is not a myth. Its not one entity that is corrupt. Its a voluntary free associating system that takes place from interaction, it emerges, its the most accountable, and the most successful process you will ever have amongst the odds of evil men. This notion of plunder and chaos has absolutely nothing to do with Anarchism, and everything to do with Statism. You confused much of Anarchy for a collapsed state. Its not tribalism.

You don't understand, evil men corrupt free market, capitalism, socialism, communism,... The US was the freeist market in the world, and now it is in the most trouble. Free market purists don't see what is going on. They blindly think that the status quo is good enough, it isn't. George Bush was totally free market, totally into giving the rich tax breaks. He didn't turn to bailing out (fascism not socialism) banks til everything started crashing around him.

The US was near a Free Market but it was still a tiny State... No the Status quo is bullshit, its not good. Are you telling me you think what the U.S. has is a Free Market? That this is Capitalism? George Bush is a Fascist, not for Free Markets that was all propaganda. Statism corrupts the market, prevents it from functioning, takes out the risk, the contracts...
All taxation is extortion, and the "rich" is very misleading term....

or free market corrupted the state. They sued to legalize lobbying, which is legalized paying off of politicians. Look it up. The greed of free market tore up the constitution. Politicians don't go to wallstreet looking for money, 95% of lobbyists are in Washington where they have easy access to politicians. I believe that lobbying should be a felony for both politician, company represented and the lobbyist. 10 year minimum sentence, no time off for good behaviour.

No, the State is corrupt and always has been, they are a group of people laying claim to others property by force. Blaming the market itself is like blaming the peasants..
Naturally a Capitalism wants to remove his competitors, but this should only be done by market forces. (better prices, better product, better services) The State has forbidden power, and thus evil men go there to abuse it; for the power to abuse.

Nah, other way around the state has been corrupted by free marketers that have benefitted greatly in the free market. Small businesses of centuries past have turned into corporations. Corporations run the show, not government. The corporate greed has gotten the US into the trouble it is in today. When you tell me that corporations aren't lobbying gov't to tax the people so that corporations can turn around and corral that big fat government contract then you might be on to something.

A Corporation is a fictional person created by the legality of the State. Corporations are pretty much branches of the Government, but the State itself is a Coercive Monopoly with the power steal from you in many more ways and does not operate on a budget while the Corporation can charge the monopoly rate but still operate on budget ; however, with the State ever so involved they crave out the borders and create the environment that you are forced to use such service (usually utility) or else.

Yes corporations are branches of government because they sued to legalize lobbying in the late 1800's. They made themselves "persons" with "persons rights" through the legal system, forcing their will on the people. Corporations are branches of government, but they are really the executive branch that has the real control. The president is bound by many rules and is fought by congress at every turn. Corporations own Congress.

I will add, please don't say it was because the politicians made banks lend big homes to little people that the market crashed. The bailout money would have bailed every person in a forclosed home, there is something more sinister going on behind the scenes. Unfortunately free market private banks and the federal reserve won't let us see all the toxic assets they've cooked up.

You have the Political Ruling Class, the Productive Class, and the Unproductive Class.
Naturally with Statism the wealth and massive profits are in the Ruling class (not all) but in that class yes, because of lands grants, laws and regulatory bureaucracy that has nothing to do with security just protection for lobbyists as they are mandates and barriers.
The Unproductive class (majority) is entirely full of poor, unemployed and jobs that provide no real future economic growth.

I'm sorry, that's just plain ignorance on your part. There are people out of work that won't work flipping burgers and gradually bankrupting themselves to make someone else rich. Executives (supposedly the productive ones) and workers ratio in pay has jumped 7 fold in the last 30 years. Something wrong with that picture. Flipping burgers is actually not easy work, go try it, you might learn something about real work and how the productive people really do make society run.

How can you even blame the market when you got the 3rd National Bank (Federal Reserve) devaluing a currency that everyone is held at gun point to accept; which is around 98% devalued and dropping.
When I said Productive Class, I wasn't talking about Wall Street... I was talking about people with savings and capital that actually have the buck in the first place to make loans (with discrimination otherwise everyone loses) that create real investments which in turn grow themselves.

Check out all the recessions and depressions BEFORE the federal reserve act of 1913. It is corrupted free market, greed, political interference by lobbyists, and a failed system that has gotten us to this point. Bush did indeed expand gov't, but look at where it was expanded, security, military, etc... social programs took all the cuts. Low and behold the economy is on the edge of an abyss at the end of his presidency.

If the market is corrupted than its not free to Interact meaning there are barriers, thus not actually a Free Market. It doesn't mean free stuff, it means the freedom to voluntary associate with who you want.
Every President inherited a mess, Bush inherited a mess from Clinton, his father, Reagan, Carter etc.. and he made it worse like Obama. Its more of the same just on a grander scale, borrow money, print money, intervention in all fields.

Yes, the barriers protect the American modern family. Until "Free trade" the American family prospered, now the "free trade" means we must compete with the typical chinese worker who has no benefits, works for dimes on the day. American society "as a whole, not just the rich", will crumble because of it. Protectionism should be renamed to preservation of the middle class.

The so called Free Trades are another form of Protectionism not actually free trade, actually the cost of goods go down on a real market, but not necessary wages. They actually rise when you have more productivity. I am sure you also think legislated wages are a good thing, when again its another distortion among the market place price fixing someone's labor. I go back to blaming the dollar/value/hostage to a fiat currency about wages and decline of living standards, thanks to the State.
