  • Beautiful set :)

  • Holy Rod Jones, bogiesan! A Theatre In A Trunk memory that was almost lost. Thanks for the reminder.

  • Nice looking set.

  • Hikaru no Go!

  • you wouldn't think playing your little brother in a game of go would be difficult, but strangley it is... so far the record is 2-2. Just goes to show anything can happen

  • I am a beginner Go player and really enjoyed this video. No music is needed, just the natural sounds from the board and stones.....

  • very nice set. its a very pleasant experience playing the game; especially on a nice Kaya board.

  • Ładne!!

  • Whoa, this video was uploaded on my 19th birthday. Very nice, BTW.

  • Yes, I know, more's the pity.

  • boardgamego (dot) com is dead.

  • How much you want to spend?

  • i need new stones and bowls:( stupid single convex

  • slate & shell stones are beautiful!

  • That was really cool except that you were plying on the wrong side of the board lol

  • those stones are so cool!!!

  • EXCELENT video..nice i love gogame!

  • beautiful

  • Wood circle. Nice introduction.

  • Thank you.One young lady who watched this expected to hear Coolie Monster saying the words that appear on the screen. I tried to make it visually compelling, even if you know nothing about go.

  • don't add music. and very well done. nice vid.

  • add music!

  • Thanks but I'm only interested in the visuals on this composition,

    Maybe next time.

  • @bogiesan actually no music gives people the freedom to choose their own music. for example: open another tab and look for 'japanese flute' on youtube, the first video fits quite nicely. :-)

  • how much did all that cost...

  • Relative to your desire to own a fine set. The purpleheart board was about $200 from Canada. The purple-veined clamshell and slate stones were about $100 from Japan (a rare set of stones and a very rare price, usually ten times that) and the bowls are fungus-stained ash that cost $10 about 20 years ago.

  • nice vid!
