Where she was at, the corner of lucky street and forsyth street, poplar district, by little five, downtown Atl is a very diverse area. She was standing outside of the Aderhold learning center, Georgia State University which is one of the most diverse schools in the world. 25% black, 40% white, 12% asian, 10% international. Now explain to me how sending here to White or Baker County is going to herlp her get a feel for what you think is "Georgia". 9.5 million people call GA home. 5 million@ATL
Do you smoke crack? Re-read what I typed. I said they did a good job of getting diverse views. Additionally, less than 600,000 people live in the city of Atlanta.
Leaving the metro area will allow her to get an idea of what indigenous Georgian's think about the case. A large portion of those who make up that 5 mil population of the metro Atlanta area are transplants from other areas of the country. Talking to a 4th or 5th generation Georgian from Chatham County would certainly be benifitial.
Judging by your list of so-called urban centers, you obviously have zero experience with those places beyond studying them at university. Spend a week in Macon, Valdosta, Augusta or Savannah. These places do not fit the average perception of "urban."
I worked for a year as a military recruiter in several middle Georgia counties. If you think the farm days are over, you need to spend some time driving around this state. Hit me up if you want some tips on where to visit.
Wow. You guys do a pretty good job of talking to a sample of folks from Atlanta. You've got two APD officers, two young guys from different races, a woman who sounds college educated, a businessman, and a blue collar guy who thinks car jacking is a capitol offense.
Please venture outside of Atlanta and the metro area. Go do places where there is a smaller probability of meeting someone with a college education. These people make up the "heart" of Georgia.
To clarify my statement, I am not attempting to be sarcastic. I'm saying you have a great sample of folks from Atlanta, but Atlanta and its surrounding suburbs are not an accurate representation of the entire state.
I grew up in the Atlanta area, but did some work last year in rural areas around Macon and some surrounding counties. The attitudes and beliefs down there are starkly in contrast to those in the Atlanta area.

And im sorry if you cant deal with it but urban and suburban areas are Georgia now. ATlanta, Savanah, Macon, Augusta, Brunswick, Colombus, Valdosta, Tifton, Rome, Athens hold 85% of Gas population. THe days of the farm boys are over. So quit trying to play that old tune that she had a biased sampling because nowhere in Georgia will you find a more diverse group of People than Georgia State. I know, I go there. ATL
Louisiana had an executioner interviewed on an Australian talk show, who said killing an inmate was like going to the fridge and popping open a beer. He also said he would kill his own child if given the task, and said he painted pictures after execution inspired him.
