  • mm I don't know why but when I watch UFO videos on YouTube and listening to this it all fits together for some reason weird I know but meh. especially when you watch watch one clip with a load of UFO footage.

  • @sedgie09 also forgot to say like the UFO over Jerusalem that video fits with the song kinda weird I know but listen to it and watch that at the same time you'll see what I mean or hear rather.

  • Epic boobs.

  • "If I were a maiden Shepard I'd be dragging you to the floor..."

  • This song is a lot like the inFamous soundtrack, I love it.

  • Samara is Xena Warrior Princess of the future.

  • First few minutes sound like a Zerg theme from StarCraft to me!

  • one of my favorite combat theme's... great one.:)

  • tits

  • sounds like someone banging some garbage bins in a dark alley somewhere.

  • 7 People need to find peace in the embrace of the Goddess

  • Sorry Samara, but my preference of asari can be child archaeologists, pirate queens, vampires, upper-class prostitutes, double-dealing spectres, milf bartenders, rogue neurospecialists, even bitchy councilors; but never religious zealots.

  • @1vaultdweller i suggest you prepare to embrace eternity then.

  • Morinth and Samara are fighting and ask Shepard to choose...

Shepard: I love it when women fight over me :)

  • This almost reminds me of the second half of "Navras", the legendary score from Matrix Revolutions... it has the same exotic yet electronic feel.

  • this song makes me want to jump around a palace at night

  • @Illnesssss And yet, despite being identical, Morinth is waaaay worse.

  • Her music isn't bad. I like the exotic sound it has. Samara herself however...is creepy looking.

  • I fucking love Samara. Everything about her is so effortlessly epic. Even her theme music.

  • @crombiekid262 her and garrus had best recruit mission in game. because you got to fight a gunship

  • Samara is one of my most favorite characters...

  • PULPY MESS!

  • Samara's is definately my favorite character theme. The arabic theme is amazing.

  • I love the arabic style of this song

  • @66ALDARIS Somebody else noticed! I hope the arabic sounding bits of this music become the musical cues for the Asari civilisation when we visit Thessia in Mass Effect 3 :D

  • Once the final fight was underway in the recruitment mission, I had to pause just to listen to this kickass theme

  • You ladies are gonna have to end this biotic duel or you'll ruin one of these fine couches.

  • @AQWTheAsterisk In Mass Effect, all furniture is bulletproof and bioticproof (like in the Archangel recruitment mission)

  • This sounds very BSG-esque

  • Liara vs Benezia vs Samara vs Morinth vs Aria vs Captain Wasea vs Enyala.

Somewhere in the holy land of earth in medival period, an deathmatch where only one asari will receive victory in earth and leave their opponents behind in the sand.

(Note: I am lazy to list all badass asari's I know)

  • @cheetafist Wasea and Enyala were weaksauce (as was Vasir). I literally charged and punched them to death for talking shit.

    ...But especially Vasir.

  • @cheetafist Aria can be really persuasive if she wants it...

  • 7 dislikers.

The Code requires that they pay for their crimes.

Find peace in the embrace of the goddess.

    *glows blue*

  • @Terry2982 What did you say about my girlfriend?

  • My goodness. The instrumentation. The... EVERYTHING. I LOVE EVERYTHING. It almost sounds like there's some Battlestar Galactica influence and OMG IS THAT A DUDUK? I LOVE DUDUKS!!! But anyway, I've always sensed some BSG influence in these games. No surprise there would be some in the music. This is probably my favorite character theme so far.

  • Things get real at 7:25

  • m0:00re!

  • Morinth!

    Mother.

    Do not call me that!

I can't choose to stop being your daughter. MOTHER.

  • Is it just me, or does parts of this sound like some of the Kirkwall music in DA2?

I guess they thought this didn't get used enough in ME2, so they reused some of it.

  • @Tleilaxu0 By "they" I think you really mean "he," and "he" would be the composer of the Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age 2 soundtracks: Inon Zur.

It is entirely possible that Inon Zur found some inspiration in the music of the preceeding BioWare title.

I, for one, can't fault him for that; he, clearly, has excellent taste in music.

  • @JaminKoehn Oh sure, I didn't mean it in any negative way. I actually do think this theme wasn't used enough in the game (none of the character themes were, though some were better than others).

  • samara''s theme is my favourite. especially at 7:25

  • @Terry2982

    Samara.

  • @QBCmail Blade Runner had Arabic vocals as well. Definitely inspired by that soundtrack

  • 7 Ardat-Yakshi's were here.

  • @HomuncuIus It's also a city in Russia :-)

  • @HomuncuIus Samara means "guardian" in Arabic

  • 5 people were killed by a biotic throw...and 2 more were shamed to the point where not even seppuku can save their pride...

  • *Morinth and Samara are in a biotic battle in the room, chairs flying around the place, the two options come up (Choose Samara, or choose Morinth)

    Shepherd: "WAIT!!!....STOP THIS MADNESS!!!...I have to ask a question....could you both, you know...like....kiss...just one....pleaseeeeee???"

  • @RaifukuMaru

    Dude, that's freaking incest...

  • @RaifukuMaru the Male instincts will never die huh? :DDDD

  • @RaifukuMaru

Thats sick dude... she´s her mom.. wtf xD

  • @tornadogroup51 Clearly not an avid user of PornHub!

  • @RaifukuMaru They should make Mass effect porn lolz :D

  • @RaifukuMaru

    5 seconds latter

    Dead Samara on the floor.

  • Look Samara, i know you're an extremely powerful black-and-white morality following elite, but my neck is going to start hurting from looking down constantly unless you put some less revealing clothes on.

  • Alien MILF. 'nuff said.

  • 4:45 ...Upper Afterlife music anyone?

  • Start sounds a bit Battlestar Galacticarry. Which is good. The Normandy would annihilate the Galactica however.

  • @HotFuzz456

    ....well galaktica is destroyer/carrier mixup.

i dont deny that thanix cannon wouldnt destroy galactica

,but it has lots of vipers+raptors capable to be

    eqipped missiles/nukes...just saying...if i´

could choose between galactica or SR-2

    galactica would be my choise...

  • @prcheesebollz To be honest, BSG got a bit illogical at times. Like didn't one Raptor destroy the entire Cylon base? But yeah thinking about it we can't really compare the two, I mean the FTL travel of the franchises are completely different and stuff. It goes without saying that Galactica's far superior in that it doesn't rely on Mass Effect Generators... screw it, too different. Both great ships

  • @HotFuzz456 Have to say, Mass effect's space battle in theory is different from all the scifi-series i've seen. Especially that part about heavy ships main guns been useless from close range, and fighters having no real way to destroy a cruiser, but wear their mass effect fields down and let other ship finish the job. Of course reapers and collectors had main guns that could be used at close range, but that was to show how advanced they truly were.

  • @HotFuzz456 I say in theory, since we've never seen only space battles against collectors and a reaper but not with other mass effect-races. Codex-told some of the standard line ups against ship-to-ship combat, but mostly energy weapons played a small role.

  • @prcheesebollz ...with great crews

  • All of the themes are so amazingly incredible

  • Yeeeeah! Big Giant Circles! Awesome job Jimmy.

  • "You are a disease to be purged, nothing more!"

  • This soundtrack sounds like an Egyptian music.....

  • @iamtehgame "Samara" is actually Persian for "Guardian"... so that might be why it has an arabic feel to it

  • @shadowmare97 No wonder.....

  • where is the version of the song that is more slow and ambient? its being played after the mission where samara and the policer officer are together. rly need to find this.

  • Samara- because Bioware loves screwing with our fragile little hearts.

  • I don't care what anyone says. Morinth is the fucking shit. Dominating sentinels and krogans is fucking awesome :P

  • heavy risk, but the SIIIZE....

  • Damn the Me and ME2 soundtracks are so awesome. on insanity the game is so powerfull. The fights are epic enough without the Soundtrack. But with in... best Games ever:)

  • @Violentic81 The soundtrack changes with the difficulty of the game, you're saying? O_O

  • @PenanceAnima Wow...that's a very awesome idea, actually...A reason to challenge yourself other than an overpowered weapon or armor. It could even give you an edge mentally. I think game companies should do that. Of course it would be a lot of money to record a song for every scene on every difficulty. But in the case of mass effect, Doing it for Major missions like loyalty and collector missions would be a great idea. You should pitch that idea. :)

  • @PenanceAnima No. The Fights on insane was much bedder. U feel the full Gameplay designe and the fights takes much more time, like lower difficulties. The Stages makes a lot more fun and that with this Soundtrack = EPIC

  • I bet Morinth made 5 different youtube accounts to dislike this 5 times

  • @narutoacepilot

and then I was all like 'LOL DEAD"

  • FIND PEACE IN THE EMBRACE OF THE GODDESS.

(crunching and/or splattering sound effect) XD

  • I totally chose Morinth over Samara. As a Paragon, I made the acceptance of Morinth my start down the Renegade path. My little secret, not even the Illusive man knows what I've done. Hoping she ends up helping me out later on.

  • @FictionForFacts911 What will happen when you choose Morinth over Samara? I mean over the rest of the story?

  • @secuter not much. Monrinth mimics samara perfectly so no-one knows what happens.

  • @themonkeymN So there won't be any moments where she acts strange? Nor where any members of the crew notice something. And does it have an effect on the suicide mission?

  • @secuter Kelly and Joker notices a difference, but doesnt suspect anything.

Also the Shadow Broker is suprised if you bring her for the final fight with him, given her "changed agenda", but even he knows nothing. You get unique diolouge aboard the normandy, but apart from that it's like it was really just samara. Also you are able to have sex with her (you know what Ardat-Yakshis are, right?).

  • @themonkeymN I know what they are. Though she is sort of evil.. And very dangerous too. But if she co-operate well.. hmm maybe I should try it then :) What about the suicide mission? Any difference there?

  • @secuter She acts exactly like Samara for the suicide mission. In the end the only place where morinth is actually different from Samara is aboard the normandy, in her quarters. Everywhere else is like you picked Samara

  • @themonkeymN btw, Kasumi knows that it's Morinth, and not Samara aswell.

  • @secuter She acts differently with one of the unique dialouges on Tuchanka and you have Grunt in your team

  • @themonkeymN Actually if you go to Fortack's lab on Tuchanka with Morinth, the option "Talk to Morinth" appears, and she will speak in her own non-Samara voice for a minute.

  • I hear the symphony of Egzecutors :)

  • This one sorta sounds like Juno Reactor

  • Love to kill Eclipse troopers with THIS music. >:)

  • This theme would somewhat fit Tali too IMO.

  • @lordnimr0d Well, we live only around 80 years now. In ME Human can live up to 150 max. And Asari can live even over 1000 years. To them we are like hamsters, live for several years and die.

  • @2SSSR2 Asari can be killed though... just like any other species.

  • @2SSSR2 No, hamsters would be the salarians.

  • @lordnimr0d No problem, and why not the point? Asari don't age like Human females. They can still gave a birth to a child even at 900 year of their life.

  • 5 people did not find peace in the embrace of the goddess.

  • @YanYan108

    Probably killed by snu snu.

  • @lordnimr0d Actually it's 600...

  • i wonder if there is some album full of this kind of music...

  • @Robi12345robi12345 it's on itunes

  • @Turk3YbAstEr I think he was talking about music that sounds like it,in the same "epic genre",not especially the Mass Effet scores.

  • @kdaje yep :D

  • 6:30 onwards remind me of prince of persia

  • LOVE this soundtrack, and this is my favorite track.

  • 6.30 onwards.... eargasms

  • @lordnimr0d yeh.. boning her would be like boning the egyptian catacombs. neither are healthy to be in.

  • @lordnimr0d

hmm, that may be a good point ;P

  • Anyone else find it a tiny bit strange that a feared space operative like Samara dresses like a porn mistress?

  • @Riond551 More like a dominatrix, but yeah...

  • @Riond551 i find she looks like a strawberry

  • I love her.

    I want to marry her.

  • @Nothization Yeah, but then you'd have another Ardat'Yakshi on your hands. What then?

  • @TheIronMarine

    Fuck that.

Shit, maybe not, cause I would die.

So I would friggin eat it.

    OMNOMNOM.

  • @TheIronMarine He won't. Ardat'Yakshi is made only in "pureblood" relationship (Asari and Asari). And last time I checked Nothization is Human.

  • Beginning reminds me of Battlestar Galactica music

  • @somedude337 That's exactly what I thought of! The Kobol theme especially or the eye of Apollo if I remember right.

  • LOVE the TRUMPETS

  • 2:33 - 4:44

One of the best music lines I've ever heard.

  • Hah, 200-etka okejka ^^.

  • Hmm...Morinth and the Eclipse Sisters hit the dislike button...

  • Jack Wall compensated for the fact Samara's theme is played only once or twice by making it fucking AMAZING beyond description.

  • @UshiromiyaReiji agreed! probably one of the best tracks in ME2 depending on how you look at it. kinda wish bioware did the same for the tracks in dragon age too (not saying that they're bad or anything..)

  • Does the end remind anyone else of navras?

  • 7:27 is my favourite part it's when the battle with Captain Wasea starts just gets the adrenalline pumping especially when i play on insanity you couldnt have more epic music to go into a fight with

  • She's such a cool character. She's always so sure of herself because her code determines everything she does. I don't think I could ever live like that. Gotta respect her.

  • Find peace in the embrace of the Goddess

  • 2 Ardat-Yakshis disliked the song

  • boom boomboom! fucking love this beat!

  • Find peace in the embrace of the goddes.

  • Only idiots chose Morinth over Samara! How can you choose a creepy bitch over sexy, yet brutal middle-eastern inspired vigilante??

  • @TheVGamer I picked her once so I could get dominate, which is awesome. Otherwise i agree.

  • 5:18 *_____* Multiple Epicgasmns <3

  • Shepard disliked it after he got rejected by her!!

  • Morinth and Liara are jealous, so they clicked on the dislike button.

  • I love the mysterour chourus to samara kind of fitting for a mysteryous order

  • The opener to this music reminds me of Blade Runner.

  • Not only does she get this great theme, she gets what is possibly the *only* competently made telekenetic battle in all of human history.

  • wow...this is beautiful, fits samara so well too. kinda reminds me of warcraft's night elf themes, just slightly more epic.

  • Morinth must be the one that clicked on the dislike button

  • @watchinginaz First time I actually enjoyed that comment meme! :D

  • @watchinginaz no no it was Harbinger..

  • Comment removed

  • @watchinginaz

    xD Made my day, dude

  • @watchinginaz Morinth and the dead merc Samara kills with her epicness!

  • @watchinginaz its probably the shadow broker

  • This is probably my favourite of the ME2 soundtracks. Fitting theme for Samara.

  • 8:24 is just pure epicness.

  • Best Character Theme of all . . .

  • @gurezurei Agreed.

  • I hope Garrus returns (obviously the coolest) but I also wanna have the old team back. Maybe it's just nostalgia but I just wanna take the fight to the Reapers with Ashley and Wrex at my side :D

  • @DaMoviesMan43 ashley would never agree to come back...girls are always like that

  • @DaMoviesMan43 Really, if you add up every character from ME1/ME2 that could appear at once: -Ashley/Kaiden -Wrex -Liara -Tali -Garrus -Miranda -Jacob -Jack -Mordin -Grunt -Samara/Mordeth -Thane -Legion -Zaeed (DLC, but could be reintroduced/introduced like Garrus in ME2) -Kasumi (same DLC deal) That's fifteen. Obviously some can't come back, but generally, I think it's possible that the whole team can come back, with 1-4 new characters to make sure you have some team if almost everyone died.
  • @SwobyJ well, seeing as you could skip recruiting a bunch of ME2 characters (anyone after Horizon), your "reintroduce idea" would not only apply to Zaeed and Kasumi, but also Samara, Thane, and a couple others.

  • @bandofbrothersmovie Not exactly, but they could.

I meant for those two characters, because they are avoidable *outside of the game* you actually have to do an external download for them. Avoiding Samara/Thane would be more of a conscious choice *in game*.

  • @Fr0st1989

    I certainly was.

Never noticed them last playthrough... :/

  • This theme is actually missing a part : O

In Samara's mission quest, when you're fighting the helicopter, the music tone changes into a techno shit. Where is that part : O ? It's the best part of the music too.l

  • I've had all my squad mates loyal, but still 3 of them died. I chose Thane to hold the barrier. Legion to lead a team as the BOSS. And grunt died due to Thane being not strong enough to hold barrier.
