    I believe that 1/9 stepped into an ambush in the Republic That Once Was Vietnam in 1967. A Co, 1/9 sustained 95 KIA and Bravo Co, 1/9, was reduced to half strength. It took 3 days to recover the dead. In our prayers and hearts forever.
