@burtonrules123 high british taxes and cheap movie deals compelled lee and cushing to make such junk....a lot of their movies were made for about half a million dollars, so you can figure what their salaries were out of that.
the should make Dracula A.D. 2012 with an overlaborate and over the top plot and scheme like in the Satanic Rites of Dracula... Christopher Lee should cameo as the count

when i think of it, while "satanic rites of dracula was pretty marvel-comic-ish, a third modern-day story to make it all a trilogy would have been a good idea. also, hammer planned on making a sequel to "legend of the 7 golden vampires" called "kali death-bride of dracula" set in india. it could have been a trilogy in itself: dracula in the far east...
