Ive tried drugs, and Ive tried God. Drugs may have made things worse, but God made my life miserable. The strain of religion depressed me for years. No matter how much I prayed for salvation, I never felt any better. I was suicidal at one point, and didnt feel any point to living if god didnt even love me.

So who controls your fate and karma? or are they just natural things? if they are natural then they are bound by physical laws, if they are supernatural then there is no reason not to believe in God. Spending time and money in church is a waste of time, Praying and spending time with God isnt.

Ive tried drugs, and Ive tried God. Drugs may have made things worse, but God made my life miserable. The strain of religion depressed me for years. No matter how much I prayed for salvation, I never felt any better. I was suicidal at one point, and didnt feel any point to living if god didnt even love me.
Atheism has truly saved my life.

This is def my favorite Skillet song. I'll never get tired of listening to this song...or this bad. Which is kinda weird considering I don't necessarily believe in God. However they're witten so that people can turn them into whatever they want them to be.. John says he writes songs for his Savior Jesus Christ and that EVERY ONCE in awhile, not alot but EVERY ONCE IN AWHILE he writes about love. That means like 3 or 4 songs. Ask me what a song means and I can tell you just like that. But anyways, I'm letting you know this song is indeed about Jesus, BUT John purposefully makes the songs in a way that people can interpert them any way they want to.

I have at least 15 vids proving they are Christian and John talks about many of their songs meanings. Ive got them in favs and 3 of them are my own vids from a concert. Your allowed to think what you want to for the songs, John wants everyone to be able to take something out of his music, just making sure you know what the band is about.
