Romans 6:1-14

When someone accepts Christ, when they are "reborn," they must first die to the world. We are not only baptized into Christ's life, we are baptized into His death. I don't know if it's a lyric to this song, I guess that's what you are asking...it means, simply, when we come to Christ, we are crucified with Him and then, the world is crucified to us...it no longer is our home, and we are dead to it.

ummmm...from what I do know, though, there IS something called a triple strum...they're basically triplets, as opposed to 16th's (I think it's 16ths...)compare 4:07 to 4:32...you'll find that 4:07 are triplets, and 4:32 are a burst of 16th's...i just don't know if "triple strum" is the right terminology for the triplets, that's all =P

but you're definitely right that there are so such things as quadruple strums...haha =P

Sextuplets, I would say. Each beat measure divided into 6 beats.

In any case I think these guys didn't like all the attention only from the multiple strumming so they cut it out a bit. If you listen to their new stuff (past Psalms) they don't do it. I've even noticed that they have changed the old stuff when they play it live to even take out a lot of the extra strums. Maybe Shane B got convicted of the attention?

eh.. sometimes do they play 16th notes but the "sextuplets" wayner is referring to is just 2 pairs of triplets. i've never heard of such a term as sextuplets and in written music there can be as many as 4 triplets in a row if the composer wants but they're still grouped into 4 separate triplets, not 2 groups of "sextuplets"

but i guess that word does makes logical sense as far as what ur trying to say.. its just that we don't use that term... as far as i know..
