I agree. There is no need whatsoever to put down others. Even if they are inferior in technique or aspiration. Of all the Payvar videos, I still find Assatid (in three parts) to be the best recorded one so far.
Master Faramarz Paivar is one the greates honours of Persian atrs music. Unlike many psudo OSTAADS SUCH AS LOTFI AND OTHERS he has made a great contriburion in preserving and promoting our music. He is ill now.God Bless him. Ham Washington
Ostad Payvar, the "FATHER OF SANTUR". Santur=payvar payvar=santur..Payvar was such as powerful santur player that when he played the sick got cured...that is how powerful his style of playing was.
