the syncopation is the secret. the "T" thumb plays on beat... 1 2 3 4... 1 2 3 4 ... and the "i" index and "m" middle fingers play between the beat like... 1 2 & 3 & 4... substituting letters "i" and "m" for fingers looks like 1 2 i 3 m 4.. remember the thumb in onbeat... T T i T m T... hope this helps
thanks for lesson sir! i'm a big fan of acoustic guitars, i'm also using a martin hd-28. is that an EC martin your using? anyways keep it up! you rock!!!
Loved this series. A great springboard to improvisation. Question - in part one (the beginning)you're holding down the 5th string (and the 3rd string)with left hand but you don't seem to be playing that string with your right hand - the thumb is alternating on the 6th and 4th strings....why hold it down if you're not using it??
BB-There is only one place I reliably visit on YouTube, your channel. I even worked learning the DeltaBlues into my new years resolution(s). If it's the only one I keep, I'll be all set.
finding it tough keeping that metronomic alternating bass going. thumb wont do as its told i'll keep going though cause its real cool groove something id love to do well. thanks as always.
killer sound BB,you have one of the best vibes ive heard equal to a hooker!gives me goosebumps sometimes!tommy emmanuel has an amazing groove!thanks for the lesson your the shit!

Tthis is fantastic. I just got into more of a fingerstyle guitar playing. Thank you so much. Hey, is the Delta Blues predominantly all fingerstyle?

I hope you read the comments people leave.
Whatever you wanted to be able to say you got out of life, you are doing something pretty special on the tube.
Thanks man.

I think he is using drop D tunning, that is the 6th (bass) string is dropped down from E to D tuning. Rest of the strings in normal tuning.
