Disagree, gameplay is way to easy and story is so confusing and complex if you haven't played the first or chain of memories (which never came out in my country).

I was amazed the first time i saw kingdom hearts when i was little... i didn't know the name of the game so i've kept searching on it... i finally found it and i was so happy... and that was around 5 years ago :3 now i got all the games (except final mixs) and i understand most of the storyline... Man kingdom hearts is the best games series ever and it never gets old.
200 hours on proud mode, level 99, ranked number 1 out of the series.... you can probably guess what my emotional attachment to this game.... *sob* the sheer beauty!!! 358/2 didn't do it for me, but birth by sleep has solidified itself as the handheld companion to this game!!!! GO BUY THEM BOTH NOW!!!!!
@natlinxz i actually like Square in it more than disney, and Fun Fact Sora Kiari and Riku Axel and all of them besides FF are all Disney People Disney claimed them
Square has always been style over substance. I think their hardcore fans are good at filling out all the blanks themselves.. or perhaps they just go with it, like sheep.

yes it made me cry too :) i actually prefered the story of the original because i'm not really keen on the whole organization thing, and imo they ruined kairi. but i loved the whole thing with roxas, i really came to love his character. i am also really looking forward to birth by sleep!
You forgot to mention that Kingdom Hearts 2 is also a lot longer than the original. Because you have to go back to the Disney worlds before you can unlock the final world and complete the game. Man I just LOVED this game. But since it's a little hard to come by for a purchase, I'll just have to settle on borrowing it from my local library. (Yes, I check out games from the library for FREE. I mean who can beat that?) I especially loved the Lion King level.
@natlinxz yea, my local library does have a wide variety of games, movies, music CD's, and books to choose from. The selection for games is kinda small. Though most of the time, I go online and put that particular item on hold and when it comes in I get notified. I still have a hold active for Kingdom Hearts 1, and that hasn't come in yet. Yea, I am living the dream. But not my REAL dream of being a railroad engineer (hence my name)
@trainman666 go to your local gamestop, and buy kingdom hearts 1 and 2 for like 10 bucks each. You'll have them for as long as you want (and you'll really need all that time)
@xAce9009x I would, in fact I actually did see KH2 at Game Stop. But I need all the money I currently have to pay my college tuition. So buying it is a little out of the question right now. I may get it eventually. But that could be a long way off.

I think that the experience of playing the first Kingdom Hearts was magical. I loved the beginning of Kingdom Hearts 2, but it was too long. As soon as Sora came out of his sleep and spoke, it sounded like a stupid cinematic. However, the characters and the gameplay impress me.

in 2002 KH graphics were amazing, KH2 came out in 06. KH1 story was more dramatic, I mean Sora's sacrifice and KH1 ending was pretty moving. Way more secret bosses too. But KH2 had way better action, equipping, and presentation. Worlds felt a little boring though, too many minigames IMO.
And the DS2 is the greatest controller in existence, so revelutionary.
And, all the games in my collection? Do you mean a montage of gameplay of each one, or looking at the boxart and stuff? Either way, that would make a really interesting video!
well, of course, the story is amazing. (and almost necessary if you want to play KH2) However the gameplay was extremely bad, and the PS2 version shared that gameplay.
