    Great job.. :-)

  • Hi, Thanks so much for the video, I to was wondering what the nice gold shiny 4 inch pole was used for, no I know! I did have issue with trying to figure out, how the poles and stakes go into the tent, as I only have one eyelet for each corner and not a hole for a peg??? or used the eyelet in the footprint and then the peg in the eylet for the tent!! its a new tent not used. Can you do a video for folding the tent up properly and how to clean it!!!! Thanks so much.

  • You guys are awesome! Thank you!

  • Great. Thank you very much. You saved me. I couldn't readily figure out the short pole.

  • You guys are my heroes! By the way- what are the ropes for? Also, there is a cylindrical tube that came with the stakes and is made of the same material, what is that all about?

  • @zhussami Yeah, I started searching because I couldn't figure out what those extra bits were for either. Thankfully, I have this very informative video showing that I pitched it the right way.

  • @Abularkin Thanks for your response Mr. Tent. I posted your response below so that others could view it too.

    Thanks for your kind comments!

I assume you went and bought one of these fine tents.

"The extra ropes are guyouts for high wind. they attach to the rainfly, and below the rainfly, there are velcro straps that attach to the tent poles, so the guy lines are really holding the tent also."

  • @zhussami

" The metal tube is a pole repair tube. If you fall on your tent and bend/break a pole, you can slide the tube alongside the break and tape it in place for a temporary repair. Some people go ahead the tape the tube to one pole so they have it handy just in case. Also they will have tape when they need it.

Good Luck! Mr. Tent and Darlene."
