  • lol thats the speed i think the ai runs in first place man they fucking cheat

  • Could you remake the code for PAL?

  • ha! pootube

  • Damn! I'm surprised Yoshi didn't open up a wormhole and end up in the Mario Kart 7 version of this level!

  • what is the bottom left corner of the program?

  • its a speed limiter meaning you cant zip across the map

  • there a speed limiter

  • I lol'd at 1:55

  • I use Project 64 and it's asking me to add a value and label after entering that code. What do I put there?

  • @Harrycamcinemas The entire code would be:

    810F6BA4 xxxx

    810F6BA6 yyyy

Take the number displayed on screen and replace xxxx with the first 4 digits and yyyy with the last 4.

  • @rekcaHrepyH Thanks Bwudda. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahh!!! 128345445645mph!!!

  • phisics says that if u travel faster than the speed of light ull travel in time, but risk creating a black hole and warping yourself in the process

    awsome

  • oh man, the possibilities this brings!

I wonder if you can screw around with other things like gravity? High gravity would let you steer at impossible speeds.

  • 6687 km/h was the best one, and appearently the fastest one, now you just need to make steering in mid-air possible. It would be fun flying around like that. :D

  • @SMWHacker82

I'm pretty sure that there's actually a cap in speed. 6687 and light speed appear to be the same speed (though the warp value is definitely different and unchanging during light speed)

  • @KatarisFizz The warp is not read from memory, it's just current speed / C. There is definitely a cap somewhere, as true light speed is around 300,000km per second, and these tracks are at most 2km wide. I'll have to hack that at some point.

BTW, someone made a "Steer in midair" code ages ago: 800F6A4F 0000 It has some side effect though. I don't remember exactly, but some effects won't work.

  • Nice demonstration, but next time, just use a screen recorder to capture in game audio.

  • @stevoisiak Yeeeaaah no. On my poor outdated pile of circuits, even if I could record the in-game sound, it'd make the whole thing unbearably slow. Hardly good for a video playing with ridiculous amounts of speed, is it?

  • @rekcaHrepyH

You could always send someone else the TAS file (mupen records TAS demos) and have someone else record it for you.

  • @stevoisiak This emulator can't even do TAS. Maybe new versions can, but I didn't want to have to re-modify a new version.

  • lmao xD

  • That..is so awesome! xD

  • I enjoyed the video :)

  • @Dopeboy175 You saw it before I'd even added the notes... silly Youtube.

  • @rekcaHrepyH Great job with the notes. It made it more interesting.
