NO, the headset sucks for online use. No mute and no noise canceling. It's great for use with MGS4 for a more realistic setting, Otacon will come in periodically giving you info - if the headset isn't being used it comes through your stereo/TV. $25 is a good price, I saw some sell on ebay for $100+ haha.

Yeah, I actually decided to sell mine about a month ago for what I paid for it new. I noticed that amazon and walmart will be selling the rest of them for $400! That's an awesome deal for this bundle (Gunmetal PS3 and LE version MGS4). If I had any use for the PS3 I'd buy one of them again at that price but as cool as the system is, it seems really "cold" compared to the 360. And NOBODY has a headset on PS3, that REALLY SUCKS.

The color changes from a steel through a light bronze/gunmetal - it's one of those colors that just does not show in pictures. It's far more impressive in person.

It's old snake! I think the smash bros snake is more of a MGS1 snake. The reason he's old is part of the story explained near the end of MGS2 and beginning of MGS4. Timeline is:

The controller is the same as the PS3 unit - not really a flat grey but a "metal" color. It looks more metal than colored and it has a slight chameleon effect going from a true steel color to the more brown/grey gunmetal color.

However, the controller is limited edition too, I couldn't even buy an extra to go with my system.

The install is only 4GB I think.

Anyway, I have the 60GB and that isn't enough in truth, I am going to buy a 750GB HDD to replce it, mabey even a 1TB. With System Update 2.40 giving us the option to play out own music in certain games (on the iPod in MGS4) I will be transferring a lot of my iTunes libary to my PS3. Plus other games require installs too.

But yes, 40GB will play any PS3 game ever. Heck, the 20GB will play any PS3 game, you just may have to delete unused installs.
