  • Love that feedback!

  • I don't know whether to get this one, or the Germanium OD... Anyone got any advice?

  • does this thing get fuzz sounds like other muff pedals?

  • @fasionroadkill with the right tweaking of the settings, yes.

  • play some bar chords as well as soloing pleeeeeease

  • What's on ur shirt, brothah?

  • sick guitar.

  • Looks like its time for my third muff... god why do they have to sound sooooo goood??!!?!?

  • Bought this pedal brand new, then found a used one. Wanted to return the new one but instead, decided to put 2 X12AX7 in the used one (it comes stock with 2 X12AY7). Loved it so much that I kept both!! :-))

    To me:

    2 X 12 AX7 ==> pretty good with humbuckers!

    2 X 12AY7 ==> loves a Strat!

  • WHY does everybody always "scoop the mids"

  • @SmokingGuitarist punchier sound

  • i know this ins't the right place but could some1 suggest a pedal to play RHCP and similar styles?

  • apparently frusciante uses the muff'n so well its his sound too

  • frusciante uses the big muff pi along with the boss ds-2 pedal

  • English muffin or Mesa V-Twin????

  • Muff'n!

  • Okay im getting this in Europe but i live in australia so can u just hook up any adapter to this pedal?

  • @frubbo nop! the only adapter to this pedal is the one given in its box. U can't use batteries neither

  • this is a preamp too. im gonna have to check this out. but for right now i think i have enough distortion pedals. haha. big muff, ds2, and a ds1. lol

  • How does the preamp work? Will the amp slave to the pedal?

  • There's no such thing as enough distortion pedals!

  • nice

  • could u try and make it sound realitivly clean and put like a big muff in front of it?

  • Why did you guys decide to make another profile? Everyone's going to be confused.

  • We now use 'ehx' when we can (eg, our web site domain, in YouTube, MySpace, Twitter, etc.) -- if you were accustomed to one of our older accounts, I can understand that it might be confusing at first -- but in the long run I do think you'll find that this makes more sense.

    Also, our new account has noticeably higher quality videos as compared to the older accounts.

    Hope that helps!

  • I get it now, thanks.

  • Great pedal. I have a 57 Strat and it sounds amazing through a Blues Jr. My most favourite pedal on my board by far. Blues tones galore.

  • I'm looking for a thinner distortion pedal that works well for getting lost in lots of reverb and echo (with single coils, an AVRI Jazzmaster). I think this might be the one.

  • How much are they? Sounds great with this 65 amp. Wonder what it would do for a twin reverb?

  • thats exactly what im thinking about too

  • they're a bit pricey...around 180 i think...but my god well worth it....the most amazing distortion pedal I've ever played.... I think it would sound amazing through a twin reverb.... really versatile pedal

  • @spnkthru well, second hand the price varies around 100 and 130 I think.

  • Not too pricey, considering the quality and versatility. Always good deals on these on ebay.
