You did a great job explaining place value, you math whiz, you! Math was always my favorite subject to teach! Question & pet peeve: Since "10" represents 2 in binary, why do some people pronounce it "ten?" Keep smilin', annie
I think they say that because everyone (at least in most cultures) is raised on the decimal system, so they naturally say ten instead of one-zero. yay math!
i learned this a year ago, and it took my professor about an hour and 10 minute lecture. I think I could have learned it from your 7 minute lecture just as well, haha.

Yay hex. We just went over Hexadecimal earlier this week. Adding and subtacting, multiplying and dividing O_O. But i got it in the end! ^_^
