Your method is ok, but i suggest you to use the swap magic to load the ule, then use mcboot to prepare your memory card. With this, use the Swap + ule again to copy/paste the Ule.elf renamed to boot.elf into your Boot directory on the memory card. With this you can load Ule at the start and then, Snes-station 2.4 from any usb device or the memory card. With this method you don't even Swap any Cd's, only switch on your ps2 and then, from the ule you can load any hombrew.

you also need the swap magic slide tool depending on what version of PS2 you have if you have the slim version you either need a fliptop or the little things that go inside all the holes so your able to take the top off without messing with the rotation of the disc. also see IMBnes for nes games.
