hi david I did everything that you said to do in the video and I save it and look at the page it's just showing the html code and nothing else please help! Thanks :)
Thank you SO much! This is the best and most efficient tutorial that I found. However, the text that I copy/pasted is what is showing up in my sidebar, not the actual element i wanted there. Advice?
@garlandpool Thanks :-) If you've copied all the HTML text from the Google Friend Connect site, you go to your Wordpress Admin area, click on Appearance->Widgets.. Drag a Text widget over to one of the Sidebar areas.
Paste the HTML code into the Text area and save it.
Now reload your website and you should see the Friend Connect widget.
