I work in sound design, so I'll give you my opinion. First of all I liked it. I think the mixing could have been done better. The clothes movement for example was a bit loud, the sound of the wind was a little to "open" for wind passing through a heavily populated suburban area (in terms of building). The first laser strike was very thin, and the other strikes need to be mixed better. Most people wouldn't notice any of this though, so overall, its good.
That's bloody amazing! Very, very impressed. I'll soon be trying to do Foley / sound FX on a low budget short film of mine. Don't think i'll get it to be anything quite like yours :-) but cud I ask some advice? I have an SM57 dynamic mic (which I know isn't perfect) and was going to also buy a small diaphragm condenser mic (Rode M3, or AKG C1000S possibly?) +record sounds in stereo with both. Will this setup be suitable? Prob edit in Soundtrack Pro?Can this setup work? Thanks ! Great job!
pretty freaken good man, dam, better than the actual movie i would say, did you do a lot of adr or how did you get the realistic wind on the clothes and echoed dog barking, i like the traffic bumping theh lfe too
Nicely done. Should have experimented with some ADR though.

I had shivers with this movie and mostly was because of his sound desing, so it's a great challenge.
Great job! I'm a sound design student myself, this video is convincing me that I have to left Sonar and start working with Protools NOW!
