So what makes this particular case more unique than all the other service members who have made the ultimate sacrifice? What brought on this emotion? Why authorize a return in darkness? President Bush also visited those injured during the Fort Hood massacre...days before President Obama traveled to the base with his media in-toe. Bush did it because he cared.
