  • cool locomotive

  • That's a very cool locomotive. It sounds great.

  • Your PRR 2-10-4 is nice, and is pulling a very long passenger consist of 16 heavyweights. I counted 3 baggage cars and 3 combination cars, is this prototypical, or did you use this to increase the length of the consist? I'm not being critical, just asking with the knowledge that model train operators can do whatever what they want with their trains :-).

  • The only stupid question is the one that goes unasked. :) In general, PRR had one type of single-chime whistle for freight locomotives and another, multichime whistle for passenger locomotives. The same was true with many other railroads.

  • This might sound like a stupid question, but do all PRR engines have the same whistle?

  • WOW! That is such a beauty!

  • Are these even available to buy anymore? I can't find them anywhere.

  • daym u must have a lot of money cos u have every bloody loco in the world

  • Wow! Those are huge drive rods! The Penssylvannina rr had the best locos, no offense to NYC, which i like more...

  • The J1 is 35 inches?????????? wow

  • Fantastic! Shame that there are no surviors of the PRR Texas type in existance. That was one BAD locomotive!

  • the J1 and tender are about the same length as the S1 and tender. Both are huge locomotives!

  • That is awesome.

  • How long is this compared to your S-1?
