That's where you are wrong. Carp do feed right through the winter, and in a stock lake with not enough food for all the fish it is important to give them some food. It is pre-cooked wheat, which is very digestable even in the colder months.

you don't have to feed them in the winter because they can't digest in the cold water and they don't grow during the cold water too

I hate seeing foot prints in the snow it bugs me when the post man comes an puts his size 12s in my snow. looks great though
