from the ground all the time and now he gets REALLY mad if you even act like you're going to jump on him from the ground lol. And I've been told that getting on without a mounting block is bad for your horses back because you're pulling on the muscles to one side. BUT besides all this commenting awesome jump with her! I don't want to sound creep but what state are you in? I'm in South Caroline and your pony looks so much like Peter I'm wondering if they could be related lol how tall is she?
@ohmyhi i don't get on from the ground alot anymore and if i do like in this video its for practice bc you should be able to and what not, also i switch sides to get her and myself used to mounting from the other, but your right it is bad but its not terrible if done in moderation :) oh and we have other better videos lol
Great improvement from the other video I saw (that was from 2 years ago) the only 'trainer' comment I'd make is that it seems like your stirrups could be MAYBE a hole shorter because you're close to the saddle and you're sitting to soon over the jump and you could release more. But you guys look great together! And that's awesome that you can jump on like that, my pony, Peter Pan, doesn't like it when you jump on him (before he was mine he was a lesson horse and my friend use to jump on him..
@ohmyhi haha yeah and well this time especially she was hyper so i can't justify what i did but it was so she wouldn't take off after the jumps lol but stirrups deff go up but we went right from flat to jumping :/
