Nicely done piece. I wonder why you do not put the mic up toward the fipple area. A stiff wire shaped in a u shape tied with bird allows for the mic to be position above the bird and works real well for picking up the full range of the mic. Just a thought or maybe you already know this. Thanks for sharing this piece.
