  • Good work but please take a freakin breath now and then. Whew!

  • what is that film showing when he was talking about the scientist Owen? Anyone?

  • @forlornfoghorn Darwin's Dangerous Idea is a very good biography by Daniel Dennet. Enjoy.

    /watch?v=910dz5sCb1I

  • @AronRa Cheers man. Also i really liked this series, good job.

  • Actually @aronra these lunatics make many predictions. The first one that leaps to mind is Ken Ham with his "what would we expect to find if there was a global flood?" spiel, with his answer being "billions of dead things in rock layers laid down by water all over the earth." Similarly, Carl Baugh in his brilliantly stupid programme "creation in the 21st century" (a must watch) references the grand canyon, of all things, as something that matches the expected consequences of a global flood.

  • 9:42 "God could have created her with the APPEARANCE of having being murdered"! That just made me lol, big time.

  • i love the "beg forgiveness for" line, so funny

  • Can someone explain 5:14 to me?

  • @Crucible0Patriot "You soul is real even under scientific theory. And you fools will find that you exist after the body expels your energy" How on earth can you know this. Have you died or seen a body "expel energy"? Can you provide an experiment that would prove this? Can you show a paper showing that the body has a soul? If not then these are blind speculations asserted as truth and therefore you are being dishonest in the extreme.

  • @Crucible0Patriot "However Secular wants to protect the dinosaurs and standard train evolution" No one is "protecting" dinosaurs or evolution, what is being done is the wilful retardation of the population by religious fundies who reject demonstrable reality in favour of a book of fables which cannot be proven to be factual and can be demonstrably shown to be false on multiple accounts.

Your choice of only picking Dinosaurs out of the thousands of fossil fauna is telling of your knowledge.

  • @Crucible0Patriot Reading your jumbled word salad is amusing. "Secular theology"? You obviously don't know what the word, 'secular' even means. Neither is the soul "real under scientific theory". You obviously don't know what a scientific theory is either. Suffice to say that souls are unsubstantiated assumptions, supposed and asserted without evidence; being magical, supernatural, untestable, unfalsifiable, and therefore NOT 'real' in any way science could recognize.

  • @Crucible0Patriot

Prove souls exist without silly fairytales or pseudoscience

  • @Crucible0Patriot "However...You soul is real even under scientific theory" What is this theory called are can you point me to the published, peer-review research papers demonstrating this. I am curious and eager to read them.

  • @nuckchorrisrex yep, they are responsible for global warming, too.

  • Did you mean »E = mc²«? Unicode for the win. (-:

  • @co2isgoodal

If you actually believe our country is "worse than it was" 150 years ago, you need your head examined.

  • @co2isgoodal Evolution is the only scientific theory systematically attacked by those opposed to the scientific method.

  • @AronRa

Not so! They also go after the Big Bang, Pair Production, Stellar Nucleosynthesis, Planetary Accretion, and the Laws of Thermodynamics!

  • @co2isgoodal

Holy shit, you really are an idiot

Quoting bronzeage comicbooks is doing the opposite of helping your silly point.

    Heres some scripture:

    Sony 18:42:

"If evolution is false, never shall ye visit a doctor or hospital again, thou relidork"

    There ya go

  • @co2isgoodal I love when Christians try to prove that the contents of the Bible are true by quoting the Bible.

  • @Rimmer7 That's exactly the point at which my eyes start to glaze over. I am physically incapable of listening to or reading it.

  • @co2isgoodal

"So the man took his concubine and sent her outside to them, and they raped her and abused her throughout the night, and at dawn they let her go." Thus Saith the Lord!

...Look, just because something is in the Bible -- or ANY holy book! -- doesn't mean you should automatically follow it, do it, or respect the idea of it without proper questioning and reason.

  • @co2isgoodal You're a fuckin' moron.

  • You've put the Aramaic words back to front, Making it read "Arba arbadac" - which is complete nonsense. Please, correct it.

  • What's the cartoon at 5:50? I remember seeing this as a kid, but I don't remember what it is.

  • @Wotanraven The cartoon at 5:50 is 'Yellow Submarine' (1968) starring the Beatles.

  • Aron. I f**king love you.

  • @sngcoach thanks

  • @aronra where can i find the dramatization of the Dover Vs Kitzmiller case??

  • @shadowmax889 YouTube it. It's very interesting and I strongly recommend you to approach this case, know the way creationists acted in it and how they were just blatantly PWNED!

  • @SteadyD4Jesus

    Well, you're completely wrong.

To assume the supernatural does not exist is merely accepting the null hypothesis, which is required in all areas of science. There must be evidence to reject the null hypothesis.

"what was the cause of matter which we know is not static or eternal?"

We don't know this. In fact, all evidence points to matter/energy always existing.

    "Perhaps nothing became something? "

This straw man was beaten to death 50 years ago.

  • @TheZooCrew I'm sure you wouldn't mind refering me to your sources so I can see this conclusive evidence regarding the eternality of matter?

  • @SteadyD4Jesus To say that something can neither be measured nor indicated by anything, that there is no way to distinguish such claims from the illusion of delusion, requires no faith of any kind. I can truthfully say that such things aren't evidently real, because that statement would still be verifiably accurate even if supernatural things actually DO exist. Faith on the other hand states as fact things which are not neither implied nor supported by evidence, and is therefore dishonest.

  • evidence over interest bitches!

  • @AronRa

I can't praise your videos enough. They're so detailed and richly informative that they continue to reward with repeated viewings.

Love that "see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil" scene from PLANET OF THE APES!

  • The only reason the pioneers were religious was because you'd get whacked if you weren't in those days.

And even then they'd still fuck you over, look what happened to Galileo.

  • What is the movie playing throughout Most of the Rant About Owen?

  • @ThePuppyTurtle PBS 'Darwin's Dangerous Idea', script by Daniel Dennet.

  • What is funny is that despite all the talk about "supernatural" beings, if lets say goblins would exist they wouldn't be supernatural because their existence could theoretically be proven one way or another.

  • 8:24 Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition. :)

  • Why would any religious person even argue against evolution? Just say that everything in Genesis wasn't literal like you do every other time something science presents makes too much sense. "God days" explain everything. Millions of years of evolution happened in one "god day". Just divide the 4.5 Billion, or whatever it is number by 7 and claim 1 God Day=600 Million years. Then you have a ridiculous time system 4 anything. Like 2000 years is so fast God can't see it. It's in the spirit world.

  • Please speak a bit slower or make a few pauses.

  • Owen looks like an evil, mad magician. o_o

  • @demonella He seems like a 19th century troll. If internet trolls had a god, he'd be a likely candidate.

  • 4:15 - 4:44 The cling tightly to their position, never letting go. They will go through any length to defend it, even if it has no evidence supporting it, even if it means violating their cherished moral codes. They will lie and deny, even when confronted with mountains of evidence against their viewpoint. They never see their contradictions and inaccuracies, and don't care even when others point them out to them. That's not truth, that's not reason, that's mental illness.

  • That Carl Sagan quote near the end reminded me what I like most about President Obama. He has admitted fault in politics.

  • Comment removed

  • AronRa or anyone who knows; from where are the clips with Owen, Huxley and Darwin taken?

  • @FerretBob Those scenes came from 'Darwin's Dangerous Idea', written by Daniel Dennet.

  • @FerretBob Gravitationalist's has the episodes on his channel.

  • Comment removed

  • verbose and boring...

  • @bullviii I'm sorry that you're not intelligent enough to understand the fairly simple dialogue. :<

  • @Zemed87 foundational falsehoods?? without ever providing the foundations he's speaking about?

long winded nonsense. he makes the claim that there is no evidence for creation and that evolution is in fact

real science. both assertions are incorrect. each vlog is a slightly modified regurgitation of the prior.

the typical atheist tack of verbage over honesty and accuracy... but you buy it wholesale...of course.

  • @bullviii Hey, nice assumptions.

So tell me, how come creation isn't accepted by the vast majority of scientists? Is it just a big ol' conspiracy to cover up the real truth, maybe?

  • @bullviii

I see someone is religiously opposed to Google and libraries.

All the facts about evolution stated by AronRa can and have been objectively verified and all "evidence" for creation is the product of distortions, logical fallacies, and baldfaced lies.

  • @bullviii

In addition, it's rather absurd to accuse this video of all 17 of being "verbose." AronRa keeps this one pretty damn straightforward and it's much easier to follow than the 11th.

There are a healthy number of simple questions asked about "creation science" starting around the four-minute mark, and if you really had anything to contribute, you'd provide an answer to one or more of these questions. Instead, you resort to insults because you have no answers.

  • Thanks Aronra for using that trial scene in Planet of the Apes @9:54. Probably one of the best 15 minutes in movie history. I couldn't really appreciate the depth of that movie and all of the major topics of religion, science, biology, history, race, and class that the movie touched upon, until I was an adult and had the ability to grasp these subjects.

  • @amenra13 yeah saw it last year for the first time in like 30 years, and had no idea it was so sophisticated.

smoking in the space pod aside, of course;>

  • Only Science will send you back home healthy from the Hospital Bed........ Guess what Religion Creation will certainly bury you in the Earth........ that too pretty soon.

  • Those who think that they know what they already believe will never learn any better.

  • 5:15

    Shiver...

  • Looks like a horn on it's nose to me.... lol...

  • 'Evolutionist' science is giving us molecular technology with applications for agricultural, medical and industrial applications. creationist science is giving us nothing.

Put down your fairytale book, tell your invisible friend to go away and get a fucking reality check you pathetic little parasites.

  • Man, this guy is a doofus. Start looking to the facts and the evidence for a change. Try to get over your government indoctrination center biases.

  • @thechessstick You are an idiot.

  • @thechessstick

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

    YOU FUCKING MORON.

  • @thechessstick

It's you who sounds indoctrinated, you reli-douche

  • Watching AronRa disassemble those creationists was like watching Bruce Lee beat the crap out of a room full stock henchmen.

  • hey, did you make up that calvin and hobbes comic, or did you get it from somewhere else? I know almost for certain that it's not a real calvin and hobbes comic, since I've read nearly all of them. but it actually has the feel and spirit of a calvin and hobbes comic, which I find impressive!

  • @thechessstick i think noahs arc was supposedly discovered about 15 or more times by now. i doubt you can find an old boat or old piece of wood that some creationist whore wont say is or from noahs arc :P

  • @itsuyo211 You think? Satan has used that old trick many times. Making people disbelieve the real thing because of some phony one. I mean look at how many people are turned away from the real Church because of the Roman Catholic "Church". You know the one where "Fathers" molest little boys. Ron Wyatt did indeed discover Noah's ark.

  • @thechessstick you think satan planted false ark pieces? whats the point of that? if he can do that why not just completely get rid of the "real" ark? even doing nothing would be better than planting false pieces. if people keep finding fakes theyll prolly keep looking for the real one. if they keep finding nothing eventually they might stop.

  • @itsuyo211 LOL. Funny. You are undoubtedly an evolutionists, aren't you? You won't even take the time to check out Ron Wyatt's discoveries for yourself. The only investigation your evolutardation will allow you to do is to view a few anti-Ron Wyatt sites. Man you evolutionists are stupid.

  • @thechessstick youre kind of a dick :(

  • @thechessstick

"check out Ron Wyatt's discoveries "

When just about every group of fundy bible lying god pretender says he is talking crap, why would anyone believe him.

  • @gorilla199uncensored You evolutards are a bunch of parrots. You are so evolutarded that you can't even think on your own. You're just a bunch of government indoctrinated dolts. If you had been taught Islam in your government indoctrination center (read that school) you would be Muslim. Stand up like a man and think for yourself for once.

  • @thechessstick

    "you would be Muslim. "

LOL thats funny coming from the xtian who is only xtian because its parents are.

Theres a reason the vast majority of xtians accept evolutiona s fact and know the bible is not true on many many things :)

  • @gorilla199uncensored Those aren't real Christians. Those are phonies like Obama.

  • @gorilla199uncensored Only one of the 10 lepers that Jesus healed came to thank him. 10%. A remnant.

  • @thechessstick

Thanks for the imaginary fairy tale.

But theres a reason most xtians accept the fact of evolution and that the bible is not literal.

  • @thechessstick

    "Those aren't real Christians."

Theres plenty of xtains who say you are not one.

Define what a real xtian is please?

Extra points for bible references to prove you definition.

  • @thechessstick "If you had been taught Islam in your government indoctrination center...you would be Muslim." You know there are atheists from Muslim countries, its just that their environment is not as tolerant so they often have to remain closeted their whole lives. Some of the most famous are Tariq Ali, Ibn Warraq, and Salman Rushdie. Clasically, one should consult Omar Khayyam, or the "Muslim deist" views of Avicenna. So I'd like to think I'd still be an atheist were I born in a Muslim land.

  • @bcgonynor You are a government indoctrinated sheep. They teach evolution and and old Earth in Muslim countries, too. That is why there are atheists there. Remember that the god of Islam is also the god of Islam. We know him as Satan.

  • @thechessstick You know, there were atheists long before evolutionary biology developed, or the age of the Earth was calculated, although an understanding of how the world works does discourage magical explanations. Just curious - to your mind, what is the "government's" goal in brainwashing everyone to be atheists? What could they gain from such a development?

  • @bcgonynor The simple lie of evolution was something that was started by Satan in the garden when he tempted Eve. "Ye shall be as gods". The age of the Earth was calculated by Jacob Ussher long long ago. He calculated the date of creation to be 4004 B.C. You evolutards are something else. At least the book of Genesis has answers. All you evolutionists have is imagination. Of course you guys will believe about anything.

  • @thechessstick How does the admonition of a serpent that we might "be as gods" have anything to do with evolutionary theory. Gods are immortal, supernatural, and unchanging. That's antithetical to a system based on natural processes which govern changes made possible by an endless repitition of sex and death. How does that relate? If the Earth were only 4,000 years old, how do you explain thermodynamics? Oh, that's right, by magic! Like a snake talking or people living for 500 years in 2000 BC.

  • @bcgonynor People did live to be that old. Noah's skeleton was found to be over 12 feet long. God is the Creator. He as God can operate outside the bounds of thermodynamics. That is simply a given. God, by the way, can and will intervene.

  • @thechessstick Right, magic, like I said. Amusing to be accused of being gullible by someone who would rather believe that the Earth is dependent on constant extraterrestial magical intervention for its basic processes, than give up the most literal possible interpretation of the Babylonian cosmology that was shoehorned into his favorite storybook by some temple scribes who didn't know shit from tits. How could one tell a skeleton was Noah's? You're simply hopeless. Please don't bother replying.

  • @thechessstick and where is this skeleton now?

  • @bcgonynor It would be between 6 and 10 thousand.

  • @bogan182 What's the difference? If we're going to ignore the mountain of evidence that the Earth is billions of years old, why not ante up a little bit? That said, I apologize for my clerical error. Of course I was aware that the Earth began on October 23, 4004 BC, at noon on Sunday, as conclusively proven by Lord Ussher. I apologize for my ignorance of the exact details of INSANE BULLSHIT.

  • @bcgonynor Apology accepted =]

  • Aronra, is that you dressed up like Jesus in 6:12?

  • @sirdelrio That was Halloween in a downtown Dallas nightclub called 'The Church'. I had just turned 33.

  • @AronRa you look silly XD

  • @AronRa Sucks that the Hebrew words were written left-to-right instead of right-to-left. It reads Arba-Arbadak instead of Abra-Kadabra. Only when he pointed out the picture I made sense of the text.

  • The closest I have come to proving god exists to myself is by contemplating how ones DNA is a mini supercomputer capable of holding all the blueprints for a particular organismic. Then also wonder how DNA, which is present in even the simplest single celled organism, started the evolution train. Then add to that the data in the DNA which is like a language of life. Is this language natural? These complex life equations occurring without an author seems as improbable as this proving god exists.

  • @yrrebyam666 Then who authored the author?

  • @lowcomedy If one goes so far to admit that there is even the possibility that there is an author there is no reason to go into the complexities of god creating him self. God is a primitive yet still somehow valid explanation for phenomena that humans don't, won't, or can't understand. You might as well ask why witches didn't save themselves from being burned at the stake. I love god, but I wonder if god loves me.

  • @yrrebyam666 God is NOT a valid explanation for ANYTHING, as it explains nothing.

  • @lowcomedy I said it is still somehow, meaning it is still used as an explanation. Atheism and theism are both full of ones own personal opinion. When I said I wonder if god loves me if is because i wonder if there is a god and I can't wait for science to prove it one way or the other. God is not a valid explanation for anything, yes I know, but what is? Also, the lack of a belief in god is not a valid explanation for anything. Evidence I know, god I think, love I feel.

  • @yrrebyam666 That's all well and dandy. There could be a god, but nothing we have ever attributed to it has ever furthered our knowledge of anything. we have no way of knowing if there is a god or not, and no real reason to assume there is one.

  • @lowcomedy Why would mere faith in "something" that may or may not care that I even exist ever further our knowledge of anything. That would entail some decision on that "somethings" part to impart information divinely. I have yet to receive original meaningful information through mediation, hallucination, praying or logic. The quest for enlightenment, which may be a myth in that all one can really attain is conviction, continues.

  • @lowcomedy

Except some ancient fantasy novels written by people from the bronze age or medieval ages.

  • 7:23 I'd like that shirt.

  • 5:16 is going to give me nightmares. That is some seriously scary shit.

  • You can't spell ignorant without ignore! lol

  • Ah, pious fraud.

  • I just noticed that at 6:09 is a picture of (a younger) Aron dressed as jesus! lol

  • Creation science = apologetics. Brilliant point.

  • "Atheism is just an excuse to reject Reality by denying It regardless of what evidence is provided for it "

Hey I was drinking milk when I read that it came out my nose!!!

Yeah that's right, Atheists ignore evidence, not like Creationists who have MOUNTAINS of evidence supporting their beliefs. ROFLMAO 8^D

We've never heard of paedophilic PRIESTS have we?? Such high moral standards!!! Hahaha.

  • @warren52nz

".....Yeah that's right, Atheists ignore evidence, not like Creationists who have MOUNTAINS of evidence supporting their beliefs......"

What further evidence do you require for the Principle of Causality, dolt? What makes you think that the NONSENSE of Darwinism which asserts that SHIT JUST HAPPENS - FOR NO REASON - if you wait long enough is a better explanation for the way the Universe is and works? Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!

And what have pedophilia to do with Theism?

  • @cletusnze " NONSENSE of Darwinism"

Time to go back to school junior. Evolution is one of the most robust scientific theories in existence. Denying it just makes you look uneducated, retarded or more likely... brainwashed. Which is it?

And before you embarrass yourself again by saying something stupid like "Evolution is only a theory", look up what theory means in a scientific context. Gravity is "only a theory too".

  • @cletusnze ? "

"What makes you think that the NONSENSE of Darwinism which asserts that SHIT JUST HAPPENS - FOR NO REASON "

AronRa explained why this, in an earlier video in the series, is a wrong assumption to take.

  • I would have loved to have seen Behe's facial expression as the lawyer was piling up those books. LOL

  • Why... does that ape have statues of dicks on the table in front of it?

  • Thumbs up if you enjoy both the thoughts and the voice.

  • 9:00 - Carl Sagan quote FTW.

  • i still wonder how we dismiss scientology and mormonism and what not crazy hook religions, but still guard christianity so readily...i guess man just needs something to justify life

  • 8:22 Nobody expects the spanish inquisistion.

  • The letters of the first and second Aramaic words are backwards.

  • LMAO! Excellent touch using the Daffy Duck cartoon Duck Amuck, I LOVE that short!

  • one thing creationists love to do is equal faith with science. Science doesn't work through faith, it isn't a religion. There isn't any central authority that alone dictates the universe is billions of yrs old. It doesn't have to be so, but it is when mutual non-contradicting sums of evidence all point on that same direction. It isn't so because science has a stranglehold on truth through authority. does any creationist wonder how science knows what it knows?

  • @lzoli18B they are simply anti-science, i honestly hate those people, they are sooo ungrateful of the things science has gave them, like a tripled lifespan or just things that make us comfortable like AC, its fucking pathetic how adults can denie demonstrable facts

  • wonder what that creationist shirt said?

  • 6:10 Aron

  • A correction, it wasn't the Spanish Inquisition that imprisoned Galileo but the Roman Catholic Church in Italy. Otherwise great video.

  • @slicingwater

Yes that is true but the inquisition was sponsored by the church until its end in the mid-1800s

  • Have there been any documentaries rebutting this one or along the lines of attempted explanation of creationism?

  • @Jbarrtndrsr Not that I’ve seen, (unless you can count a 12 y/o living in his moms basement). And I doubt I ever will because 10 creations combined, could not stand up to the facts, logic, and reasoning AronRa presents in everything I’ve seen of his.

  • One of the many problems with the U.S.A.'s education system on a college level, is that we have all these "DR.S" of math, and music, and english, and education, and....you name it. we have an ' expert' in that field. They to, can not be wrong. The human ego is so fragile...so childlike...no matter what your degree states. Fear rules in the animal kingdom. What is your view?

    Sincerely,

Billie Watkins Jr student at the UNIVERSITY OF NEW ORLEANS 2010

  • OMG It's Waldorf from the Muppets in that grilled cheese. All hail the new messiahs, Statler and Waldorf.

  • @Jonstern1983 I thought it looked a bit like The Dude, myself

  • @Kwinnky Cuz people don't like to spend 10 seconds researching it online.

  • is the name of that movie darwins dangerous idea?

  • i know i'm being overly picky but given "abracadabra" is aramaic, why is it written in hebrew script at 06:10? moreover, it's spelled incorrectly and it's written from left to right, while both aramaic and hebrew are written from right to left... sorry, i just couldn't resist :) AronRa for president of NWO! :)

  • 2:16 so there has been bias in science.

  • @lambchopxoxo Yes, when influenced by religion.

  • @lambchopxoxo

Yes. There absolutely is a bias in science. A HUGE and overwhelming bias.

Science is biased towards reality, to the exclusion of falsehood and ignorance.

  • Its sad that because there is SOOOO much evidence for it evolution has become so incredibly easy to defend that even people on youtube can defend it EASILY with a little research. Of course its even easier to cover your ears, close your eyes, and say la la la la la la la! as loud as you can.

  • I cannot attribute this quote, but it seems to fit here, replacing the word philosophy with science: "Science is questions that may never be answered. Religion is answers that may never be questioned."

If someone knows the origin of that quote, please let me know.

  • @Largo64

Actually the quote is about philosophy:

"Philosophy is questions that may never be answered. Religion is answers that may never be questioned."

quoted in Dennett, Daniel C. (2006). Breaking the Spell: Religion as a Natural Phenomenon (1st ed. ed.). Viking Penguin. pp. p. 17. ISBN 0-670-03472-X.

  • @ozpowermo Thanks!

  • 01:13 That guy discovered some ting real special :D
