Here is my side of the story, I cant cook too many thangs...I tried to make a pumpkin bread pudding dish. I fought like hell in the store asking questions about ingredients that I never heard of and THEN I left the recipe in the cart. Then I got home, and saw I had a reason to be pissed. Found another recipe, created my desert, cooked it and when it came out, it tasted like hell...nasty,lol...tasted like old eggs mixed with pumpkin. ~Raven
Part 2~ Then I made stuffing and put too much butter in it so it tasted like fried stuffing and I could go on but why bother. I think if one partner spends alot of time in the kitchen, the other should help. I think if BOTH parents work outside the home then its a 50/50 deal. If one parent stays at home AND STILL has young children at home, then at dinner time it should be someone else cooking and someone else cleaning the dishes although,.... ~Raven
Part 3~ the person staying at home should do most of the household work. If all the kiddos are at school and the woman is at home, then, I think the woman should do all of the cooking and cleaning. Truth is, its really only a 2 hour day of labor to take care of the house and cooking so that is more than fair. It aint like the old days where it took a woman all day long. I have female family/friends that stay at home and the man still does more in the home. NOW, that is soooo unfair.....~RAven

Part 1~ OMG...he is soooooooo cute....
Here is my side of the story, I cant cook too many thangs...I tried to make a pumpkin bread pudding dish. I fought like hell in the store asking questions about ingredients that I never heard of and THEN I left the recipe in the cart. Then I got home, and saw I had a reason to be pissed. Found another recipe, created my desert, cooked it and when it came out, it tasted like hell...nasty,lol...tasted like old eggs mixed with pumpkin. ~Raven

Part 2~ Then I made stuffing and put too much butter in it so it tasted like fried stuffing and I could go on but why bother. I think if one partner spends alot of time in the kitchen, the other should help. I think if BOTH parents work outside the home then its a 50/50 deal. If one parent stays at home AND STILL has young children at home, then at dinner time it should be someone else cooking and someone else cleaning the dishes although,.... ~Raven

Part 3~ the person staying at home should do most of the household work. If all the kiddos are at school and the woman is at home, then, I think the woman should do all of the cooking and cleaning. Truth is, its really only a 2 hour day of labor to take care of the house and cooking so that is more than fair. It aint like the old days where it took a woman all day long. I have female family/friends that stay at home and the man still does more in the home. NOW, that is soooo unfair.....~RAven

raven: yeah, i agree with that last part. i'm just glad wifey is working...but when she was home it was sooo sweet. food on the table, didn't have to even think about it. but with little nips...gotta have two incomes. well, we could budget with one paycheck and have mommy at home, but wifey ain't trying to have it. just like me, now that i'm back at work i ain't looking to stay at home no time soon. i had fun this past year and that's all i needed...stay sweet my love. ;)
