I'm glad people enjoy the music, but when a song is melancholic and people talk about how happy it makes them feel it's almost as if there's a lack of respect for the lyrics. Also, reading over my last comment I realize that Born Ruffians don't always sing about the most "significant issues that a human can deal with", but some of them are deeper then they're often given credit. That's all I meant by my comment :)

It frustrates me so much how people are always commenting on how "happy" Born Ruffians' songs make them feel. Read the lyrics folks. Luke Lalonde is far too deep to be passed off as the lead for a band that simply writes catchy songs. Rather, the words he sings address some of the darkest and most significant issues that a human can deal with. How lonely would it be to write lyrics like that only to have them lost behind nice hair and catchy music? And yes, the music is fantastic.
