@TRevAW69 NO ONE CAUGHT AND CAGED IT!!! God read effing descriptions sometimes! It's was bred. It's parents were probably bred. It's not depleting anything if it's from slow Loris breeders. They exist!
Even if it is legal in Russia to own one, it doesn't make it right. These animals don't belong in little cages they belong in nature...by buying her, your essentially supporting removing them from their natural habitat and therefore pushing the species closer to extinction
This video needs to be removed now, why are You Tube allowing this to be broadcast it is disgraceful. People who do not uderstand that this animal is practically extinct in the wild, will want one as a pet and you encouraging them to do so. This animal may be cute an furry, but they do not make suitable pets. I don't think these should be kept as pets but neither is it true that watching these makes everyone who sees it want one. Many people won't have heard of this until they see them on here. And no. Not even an occasional dog is ok if it kills another animal through stress or viciously ripping it apart. No little life is indispensable. Before everyone criticises these people look a little closer to home please. Dogs kill sheep and lambs horrifically on a regular basis.
Cute though you may find your loris, this is an irresponsible video as it may well encourage other people to illegally obtain one of these internationally protected and endangered animals. If you want a pet get something that does not fit this description. Having watched the documentary 'Jungle Gremlins of Java', BBC1 I am disgusted that you would participate in this cruel trade.
Thanks for making this animal become endangered you heartless turd!!! Wtf are you doing showing this to everyone. Do you have a brain???? This is a wild animal. I think you seriously should look up that definition, and maybe go back to school! Because people like you seriously do not deserve to exist. You are a nature killer, a piece of trash on this earth. I hope others see this too. But obviously most people on this earth are too dumb to care otherwise this would never happen.
Cruel bastards, why do people insist on making an endangered species more endangered. You wouldn't like it if you were taken from your home and kept prisoner by some strange person! Asshole!
Although I don't know the circumstances which led to you owning this slow loris you should be aware that you are most likely been fuelling the illegal pet trade. These. Species are critically endangered and Do Not make suitable pets. The have low survival rates in captivity . Human greed is not a reason for a creature to die prematurely. If you haven't already watch the BBC documentary on slow loris' it give an insight on what this poor animal is likely to have been through.
Anyone who is watching this should dislike it and report it as animal abuse these animals are highly endangered and this person has purchased it from an illegal pet market. These animals should not be kept as pets
HOW DARE YOU!!! This animal belongs in its natural habitat! You dont have a right to keep it as a pet in a cage like that and you are encouriging more people to buy them illegally from the pet trade. This animal is stressed and should be in the wild. Thanks to you this creature is getting closer to extinction. This vidio is SICK and you should be ashamed of your self.TAKE IT OFF!
because many people who watch it thinks its funny, but hopefully they will read the comments and it will change them into wanting to save lorises rather then wanting one, which fules the illegal trade.
What about all of the other dangerous animals who have been adapted to be cared for safely? Snakes, spiders etc. As long as these are cared for properly by their owners it's better than allowing them to die after being captured. The authorities need to go after the pet traders to stop this not the people who are caring for them now.
VIDEOS REMOVED FROM YOUTUBE DUE TO COPYRIGHT YET THEY WILL ALLOW THIS! SO CALLED 'CUTE VIDS' THAT ONLY ENCOURAGE CRUELTY THROUGH IGNORANCE ... ARGHHHHHHH!!! IDIOTS!!!
ITS SO WRONG....ITS NOT A PET ITS ACTUALLY THE ONLY VENOMOUS PRIMEMATE.WE CAN WATCH THIS ANIMAL TO EXTINCT WE MUST ACT NOW...SO PLEASE LET THIS ANIMAL IN THEIR OWN HABITAT.
A Slow loris is a protected species and should be left where it belongs-in the forest. Have it's teeth been extracted? You should be ashamed of yourselves.
This video fules an illegal pet trade that results in species extinction, I have asked for it to taken down, if you really care you will delete this immediately!
I'd love to see all you commentators who supposedly care so much about animals take a pop at every dog owner you see with their pet off a lead, who walk across countryside terrifying lambs and sheep and killing and maiming hundreds every year. That's cruelty.
@fountainburst The Slow Loris is an endangered species. It is not suited to domestication & this so called "tickle Lover" has had its front teeth yanked out. The behaviour it exhibits when 'enjoying' being tickled is a defence response whereby the animal produces a nasty toxin.
@fountainburst dog owner should be careful about their pets but there are so many who's pets don't do all thoughs things that it is wrong to prosicute all of them.
Whereas Lorises are wild animals ripped from their natural habitat and put into tiny cages were they should not be. So I think the occasional dog is ok.
I'd never heard of this beautiful animal till I saw this. The video has taught me something and made me want to help save them. The little thing looks very happy and well cared for. These videos are NOT necessarily a bad thing. They just need to be watched responsibly.
However cute this video is it only encourages more people to want a beautiful loris as a pet. The increasing pet trade in these animals will see them wiped out in the wild - which I'm sure nobody wants. Be responsible. Support the Little Fireface project where they are learning about these creatures in the wild and trying to stop the pet trade in them. These should be wild animals, not things to be giggled at on YouTube.
Surely people like DMITRY SERGEYEV who buy endangered animals illegally on the black market should be reported and arrested?? In principle isn't this video as illegal and offensive as watching a dog fight or dancing bear considering the cruelty this animal will have suffered to get it to the point whereby it "enjoys" being ticked?? I wonder how much it enjoyed having its teeth ripped out?
you disgusting cunt you purchased this critically endangered animal illegally which had more than likely had its teeth ripped out so it cant kill you with its venom, if you really loved this loris you wouldnt have bought it and supported its extinction. anyone who likes this video should be ashamed. ps i hope it still has its teeth so it can bite you until you rot
@MORGAN1992FREEM4N Do your research before you start mouthing off....the toxin is produced via the arms...specifically, the elbows. They lick the glands that produce the toxin as the saliva activates it. The toxin is a deterrent, not used to attack. The teeth are removed to make them appear more friendly and safe for the pet trade. So pipe down keyboard warrior
@Taaaaap well after you had a good old rummage through wikipedia you fuck tard should have read about the territorial nature of these animals and yes you are correct about the oil combined with the saliva makes the venom which deters predators and parasites but you're wrong as it is used to attack other loris' which leads to a slow death...you sir have been proven wrong
@Taaaaap You are totally wrong. They mix the gland secretion with the saliva in the mouth and then bite. The idea that the teeth are removed to make them more friendly is ridiculous and obscenly cruel.
@Charlieisabeat100 you cant call someone a disgusting human being because they own an animal that they ARE LEGALLY allowed to have. cool your jets,,,please. its worse having a fucking bird that loves flying locked up in a cage than an animal that loves sitting and gets plenty of love and attention. seriously if it were in the wild it would be dead by now since these animals couldnt even speed walk to save there life so, ya.
@ShadesOfPale217 The Loris doesn't see it as love and attention. It sees an environment in which it doesn't belong, away from it's own kind. It moves a hell of a distance actually, at least five miles a night. The venom is there for protection. They live longer in the wild than they do in captivity and even if they didn't it is no reason to imprison one. What you see as attention, it sees as being mauled about , unable to defend itself.
So it's not illegal to own endangered animals in Russia then. Why am I not surprised at that. It doesn't make it right though. The last thing this, or any other endangered spesies needs is a stupid video which may encourage other sad idiots to "want one" because they are cute. You should remove this video immediatley. I will be disliking it and reporting it. LG.
@Taaaaap are you just clicking onto every slow loris video and responding to everything since people started talking against the trading of these animals?
Regardless of whether she was REALLY bred in a nursery or not - by the way, this is a standard message when it comes to selling an animal of a controversial background - your video DOES encourage many ignorant people to get one. If you really so care for them, you could at least put the most important info on their endangered status IN the video so everyone can get the full content of what you aparently want to say.
you make me sick you keep a pet that was illegally taken from its natural environment and then horribly mistreated by its captors who then sold it on to you who not only supported the trade that has made these critically endangered but by filming it you have also convinced others to do the same
@MrJayD100 While I do jive with the sentiment of not taking creatures out of their habitats when possible, I feel I must note that the life of a wild animal is rarely happy or fulfilling. It's a rare wild animal that lives to die of old age.
I think people who buy these beautiful animals are contributing to the illegal pet trade. You may have the best intentions, but these animals should be left in the wild.
These animals are not suited to being domestic pets. They should be in their own habitat, not caged up by ignorant people who think they are CUTE. Leave exotic aniumals in their own habitat, and GET A LIFE!!
@boiltheoil1 Some people like exotic animals. As long as they are not endangered I dont see anything wrong with someone looking after them. You sound bitter and pathetic, so you need to get a life!!!
@askar4kill they are endangered and it is completly illegal to capture them, therefore they are illtreated to start with even if you can give them a good home do you want to encourage this illegal and terrible trade of lorises?
@askar4kill You are missing the point ! They don't NEED to be looked after, they NEED to be left alone in their own habitat with their own kind, not have their teeth yanked out and be kept in prison with humans who keep mauling them about. Have you got no imagination at all?
@boiltheoil1 I agree these animals are sweet but should not be kept as pets. they need to dig and borrow and be natural. Amimal sales should be banned. They are living beings and should be treated with dignaty
These lovely animals are already under threat through loss of habitat. Advertising them as exotic pets through videos like this encourages their illegal trade. Youtube should definately consider banning material that puts venerable and endangered species at even greater risk.
Because of these videos, the Slow Loris has now become Critically Endangered, as so many humans want one as a pet. The illegal pet trade is making a killing, and the species could become extinct in the wild in the next decade.
it may be safe from its natural predators but its also kept from its natural breeding abilities- so less slow loris babies. and i wonder how many drones with their googly eyes over how "cute" sonya is thought "oooh i'm going to go buy one too! look how cute and friendly they are!!" as if puppies and kittens arent cute and friendly and the slow loris isnt ENDANGERED. seriously how do these people post this video and not get busted by the authorities for housing an ILLEGAL animal??! SHAME ON YOU!
I'm appealing again to the people posting these videos to take them down in a move to abolish the exploitation of these precious animals. These animals are being taken from their natural home through illegal means fueled by display's such as this video and Westerner's desire for the exotic. The BBC is running a news segment this morning about the issues surrounding the illegal trade of these animals, and I implore you all to take a look at it. Leave these animals in their natural environment.
All five species of slow loris's are going extinct thanks to these videos. They have caused an increase in slow loris's as illegal pets. Taken from the wild, individuals have their TEETH WRENCHED out these are highly VENOMOUS (the only primates in the world to be so). Legislation has done little to stop these activities and awareness is key. PLEASE RE-PASTE THIS COMMENT.

If people bred these as a more common pet, it would never become extinct. Let's face it. People don't care enough about these creatures to preserve their habitat. And being a pet isn't so bad compared to being dead.
@Goldbuns Soon humans will destroy pretty much everything. The only ones that won't go extinct are ones who can interact with humans in some way. Hence, most species only have a chance to survive if being raised in captivity. I don't think that would be the best/worst existance, but it exist.
@TheInnerSanctuary "Blah-blah-blah-wild-animal-in-captivity-argument". Human selfishness never fails to astound me.
I can understand that you only watch these videos for enjoyment so you can feel good about yourself, but why knock those who care about the welfare of these animals in such a snide way? There's always the "YouTube arguments don't achieve anything" line of argument, but in my view such an attitude is precisely why these animals get abused in the first place. Nobody cares.
@irishkid1324 Aww look at her being taken out of her natural habitat, have her front teeth pulled out and put infront of bright lights. Look at her species now on the endangered list. I thought 16 year olds were a little more educated than "just look at her eating worms and say AWW". Do some more growing up & face the facts, this trade is barbaric. There's nothing cute about it, it's sick and cruel. P.S I work for the RSPCA so don't tell me I'm misguided or uneducated about the matter.
@NorwichWoody I didn't say you were uneducated... I don't know you. I'm not arguing with anyone specific. Please stop picking fights and insulting my intellegence. The animal is cute and fascinating. Not the situation. However loving the owner may be, she still belongs in her natural habitat.
Or stop arguing about the fact that it is endangered and just watch the cute little animal eat worms. Even if they're endangeredTHIS ONE obviously has a loving home and it's not up to you, the people of youtube to preach about how she should be in the wild. Seriously. Just watch her eat worms and say Awwww.
@Irishkid1324 Errr...no. Stop telling me what to do. I will preach if I want to preach. And I can make up my own mind about whether or not this is animal abuse, because, unlike you, I am not a complete retard. This video is abhorrent.
@rabadooda You must feel really cool arguing with a 16 year old girl about how she's retarded. Arguing with people over the internet is stupid. It accomplishes nothing. The video was put up because the animal is cute. And I wasn't telling you what to do. If you think I was addressing you personally, you're dead wrong. Cleary the animal isn't being mistreated. So just be happy for it. And if you don't like that video, don't watch it. Simple enough.
@Irishkid1324 "Arguing with people over the internet is stupid. It accomplishes nothing". Errr...no. Look at what just happened with the SOPA legislation which has been overturned in congress thanks to the widespread public outrage on the internet. Real changes happened because people weren't prepared to accept the proposals. Same concept applies here. If people are prepared to fight against animal abuse on youtube then it might discourage (stupid) people (like you) from torturing the animals.
@Irishkid1324 "Clearly the animal isn't being mistreated" --According to whose definition of mistreated? Is being held in a cage for years with your teeth ripped out rolling around in your own filth a good definition of ethical treatment? These animals are supposed to live in the wild where they can live out their lives naturally. Just THINK for at least 10 seconds about how you would feel if you were imprisoned in a cupboard for years with nothing to do.
@rabadooda Look, the ANIMAL is cute. The situation is wrong. She should be in her natural habitat. And if you could stop insulting my intellegence that would be great. I think this type of animal is very cute. I didn't say that keeping them in cages where they don't belong is a good idea. It's not right.
@rabadooda 1. Okay. 2. Again, yep. 3. There is not a situation that I can imagine where I can demonstrate to you that I'm intellegent. I'm not going to try either. 4. This is over now.
@Irishkid1324 What you've done there is to set up a "straw man". You're defending a position that I wasn't even criticising in the first place. What I opposed was your childish assertion that everyone should take the video at face value and ignore that it is being mistreated. "All it takes for evil to flourish is for good men to do nothing".
Whether she was bought in a pet shop or not i still do not agree with keeping such an endangered exotic animal as a 'pet'. I am shocked by how these poor animals are treated within the pet trade. Wouldnt everyone like to own a cute thing like that but what they really don't understand is that they r probably in shock. these animals freeze when in shock but because of those wonderfully large eyes it makes them look very sweet. Please do not try and get them as pets. They belong in their the wild!
@BTC141 People are commenting to educate people like you, and the uploaders of the video, who think owning (endangered) exotic pets is okay. If there is no demand for these animals there can be no trade- get it? YouTube videos showing "cute" or "adorable" (actually usually terrified and stressed) animals, only serve to bolster the exotic pet trade by convincing ignorant and thoughtless people that they have to own one too.
The exotic pet trade is one of the main reasons all slow loris species are now classified as either endangered or vulnerable. In addition to the impact your own purchase has made, by uploading this video you're encouraging the ignorant, selfish, and destructive practice of keeping exotic pets. I wish YouTube'd remove videos like this. Sorry if I sound rude, but you're actively contributing to the potential extinction of a species. Could people please thumb up this comment so everyone can see it.
@Ascaithe Not to mention It is also illegal, meaning buying one is fuelling the exotic pet trade causing the loss of other endangered species. All these ignorant people will have a shock when they open their eyes and realise what the animals go to before they become someones play thing. Its in humane.
jeez people this is not cute to him it's horrar! Can't you see that they belong in madagascar or wherever!and also can't you see they are teesing him?!
Slow loris is the only poisonous primate and can only be kept as pets if all there teeth is pulled out. If you want a cute little animal with big eyeballs stick to a sugar glider.
Here's what is tragic about doing this to a Slow Loris: its behavior indicates stress, fear and panic, but people think its means "more, Mommy, more!". So a feedback loop is created that is very unpleasant for the animal. If it bit you, you'd stop tickling -- but someone pulled out the Loris's teeth before selling it.
A smile is friendly to a human but aggressive to a chimp. Slow Lorises are not little living toys who act like cuddly kids. If you care about an animal, care enough to learn.
What's with all the hate over this video? Yes it does belong in the wild but so do other pets people keep, such as lizards, snakes, mice, parrots and not forgetting to mention zoo's!! How do you lot know if this animal is happy or not? It could be better of with this person then being left in the wild to be hunted by someone's else.
@Rolferton Shit. Now that you've said that I think I'm gonna step back, take a real good look at myself in the mirror and try to become a better person. No really.
@Taaaaap he didn't make a spelling mistake you dumb fuck and the loris are nearly extinct because of the pirates in this video, your ignorance to an issue such as this is unbelievable
@MORGAN1992FREEM4N Hahah! You're gonna wish you didn't comment you thick cunt...'discusting' or 'disgusting'...you tell me how you think its spelt then you fucking tard! Child, I don't care if you, a mammal of reasonable intelligence with feelings and loved ones, became extinct...so what makes you think I give a fuck about a mammal half way across the world. My ignorance to this issue couldn't be more obvious...read some more of my posts if you wish.
She has a loving family and isn't starving or in need of medical attention.....yea her life sucks alright.... You people kill me with this I understand they are often defanged but she's happy and well isn't that all that matters ?
no that's not all that matters. This species is getting wiped out by stupid people catching from the wild and locking them up in tiny cages after ripping out their teeth with no anesthetic after killing their mother. They have to live the rest of their life in solitary confinement never seeing another of their own kind, in an alien world. Its not morally right and no one with any conscience would keep one of these as a pet.
@dernikmatute2008 NO! she isn't happy, she's bloody scared and miserable. How would like to be removed from your home and kept in a prison to be mauled about by giants, and when you try to defend yourself, the giants think you are cute, and post videos of you on gianttube.

What about all of the other dangerous animals who have been adapted to be cared for safely? Snakes, spiders etc. As long as these are cared for properly by their owners it's better than allowing them to die after being captured. The authorities need to go after the pet traders to stop this not the people who are caring for them now.

I'd love to see all you commentators who supposedly care so much about animals take a pop at every dog owner you see with their pet off a lead, who walk across countryside terrifying lambs and sheep and killing and maiming hundreds every year. That's cruelty.
fountainburst 1 day ago
@fountainburst The Slow Loris is an endangered species. It is not suited to domestication & this so called "tickle Lover" has had its front teeth yanked out. The behaviour it exhibits when 'enjoying' being tickled is a defence response whereby the animal produces a nasty toxin.
stretchmorgan 1 day ago 2
@stretchmorgan it is not its defence posture but I completly agree with everything you'r saying.
0rbrock0 1 day ago
@fountainburst dog owner should be careful about their pets but there are so many who's pets don't do all thoughs things that it is wrong to prosicute all of them.
Whereas Lorises are wild animals ripped from their natural habitat and put into tiny cages were they should not be. So I think the occasional dog is ok.
0rbrock0 1 day ago
I'd never heard of this beautiful animal till I saw this. The video has taught me something and made me want to help save them. The little thing looks very happy and well cared for. These videos are NOT necessarily a bad thing. They just need to be watched responsibly.
fountainburst 1 day ago

I wonder how much it enjoyed having its teeth ripped out?
gjefferz 1 day ago
you disgusting cunt you purchased this critically endangered animal illegally which had more than likely had its teeth ripped out so it cant kill you with its venom, if you really loved this loris you wouldnt have bought it and supported its extinction. anyone who likes this video should be ashamed. ps i hope it still has its teeth so it can bite you until you rot
MORGAN1992FREEM4N 1 day ago
@MORGAN1992FREEM4N Do your research before you start mouthing off....the toxin is produced via the arms...specifically, the elbows. They lick the glands that produce the toxin as the saliva activates it. The toxin is a deterrent, not used to attack. The teeth are removed to make them appear more friendly and safe for the pet trade. So pipe down keyboard warrior
Taaaaap 1 day ago
@Taaaaap well after you had a good old rummage through wikipedia you fuck tard should have read about the territorial nature of these animals and yes you are correct about the oil combined with the saliva makes the venom which deters predators and parasites but you're wrong as it is used to attack other loris' which leads to a slow death...you sir have been proven wrong
MORGAN1992FREEM4N 1 day ago

ShadesOfPale217 1 day ago
@ShadesOfPale217 The Loris doesn't see it as love and attention. It sees an environment in which it doesn't belong, away from it's own kind. It moves a hell of a distance actually, at least five miles a night. The venom is there for protection. They live longer in the wild than they do in captivity and even if they didn't it is no reason to imprison one. What you see as attention, it sees as being mauled about , unable to defend itself.

These animals are being taken from their natural home through illegal means fueled by display's such as this video and Westerner's desire for the exotic. The BBC is running a news segment this morning about the issues surrounding the illegal trade of these animals, and I implore you all to take a look at it. Leave these animals in their natural environment.

If people bred these as a more common pet, it would never become extinct. Let's face it. People don't care enough about these creatures to preserve their habitat. And being a pet isn't so bad compared to being dead.
Goldbuns 4 days ago
@Goldbuns Soon humans will destroy pretty much everything. The only ones that won't go extinct are ones who can interact with humans in some way. Hence, most species only have a chance to survive if being raised in captivity. I don't think that would be the best/worst existance, but it exist.

Irishkid1324 1 week ago
@Irishkid1324 Errr...no. Stop telling me what to do. I will preach if I want to preach. And I can make up my own mind about whether or not this is animal abuse, because, unlike you, I am not a complete retard. This video is abhorrent.
rabadooda 6 days ago
@rabadooda You must feel really cool arguing with a 16 year old girl about how she's retarded. Arguing with people over the internet is stupid. It accomplishes nothing. The video was put up because the animal is cute. And I wasn't telling you what to do. If you think I was addressing you personally, you're dead wrong. Cleary the animal isn't being mistreated. So just be happy for it. And if you don't like that video, don't watch it. Simple enough.
Irishkid1324 6 days ago
@Irishkid1324 "Arguing with people over the internet is stupid. It accomplishes nothing". Errr...no. Look at what just happened with the SOPA legislation which has been overturned in congress thanks to the widespread public outrage on the internet. Real changes happened because people weren't prepared to accept the proposals. Same concept applies here. If people are prepared to fight against animal abuse on youtube then it might discourage (stupid) people (like you) from torturing the animals.
rabadooda 6 days ago
@Irishkid1324 "Clearly the animal isn't being mistreated" --According to whose definition of mistreated? Is being held in a cage for years with your teeth ripped out rolling around in your own filth a good definition of ethical treatment? These animals are supposed to live in the wild where they can live out their lives naturally. Just THINK for at least 10 seconds about how you would feel if you were imprisoned in a cupboard for years with nothing to do.
rabadooda 6 days ago
@rabadooda Look, the ANIMAL is cute. The situation is wrong. She should be in her natural habitat. And if you could stop insulting my intellegence that would be great. 1) "Look, the ANIMAL is cute" I never said the animal wasn't cute. Of course the animal is cute.
2) "She should be in her natural habitat" Fantastic, we agree on something.
3) "And if you could stop insulting my intelligence..." Not until you demonstrate that you have some.
4 "It's not right" Again, we agree.
rabadooda 5 days ago

Whether she was bought in a pet shop or not i still do not agree with keeping such an endangered exotic animal as a 'pet'. I am shocked by how these poor animals are treated within the pet trade. Wouldnt everyone like to own a cute thing like that but what they really don't understand is that they r probably in shock. these animals freeze when in shock but because of those wonderfully large eyes it makes them look very sweet. Please do not try and get them as pets. They belong in their the wild!
crazyluve 1 week ago 2
@BTC141 People are commenting to educate people like you, and the uploaders of the video, who think owning (endangered) exotic pets is okay. If there is no demand for these animals there can be no trade- get it? YouTube videos showing "cute" or "adorable" (actually usually terrified and stressed) animals, only serve to bolster the exotic pet trade by convincing ignorant and thoughtless people that they have to own one too.
Ascaithe 1 week ago 4
The exotic pet trade is one of the main reasons all slow loris species are now classified as either endangered or vulnerable. In addition to the impact your own purchase has made, by uploading this video you're encouraging the ignorant, selfish, and destructive practice of keeping exotic pets. I wish YouTube'd remove videos like this. Sorry if I sound rude, but you're actively contributing to the potential extinction of a species. Could people please thumb up this comment so everyone can see it.
