wow, brings back memories of my old uniden scanner. Constant amount of police checks, stolen cars, drunks, fights, home invasions all around sydney and the outskirts. i even noted down a detectives mobile number once - jeez how often do they have to mention their speed limit on a chase?

Yes, you can on the analogue channel

It shouldn't be a problem, as long as there is an analogue transmission...it will still work.

Yes, but nearly all others are encrypted.

Yeah, Annoying who it's all pretty well encrypted now. Especially for enthusiasts who find it entertaining to listen in to like you & me.

I'm trying to work out why he was only doing 130. Were they chasing a vesper ? Most 250 cc bikes will go past that. My old 1989 250 cc sports would do almost 200 .

Hi, yes it most definitely annoying how there almost all encrypted. The police channel was my favourite, but since encryption, well, I just monitor everything else. Thanks for watching.

One time I heard HWP initiate a pursuit with a motor cycle on the princess highway Engadine. It went like this:

In pursuit of motorcycle traveling at 160km/h

speed 200km/h

and then he basically got away.

Yeah, your not wrong. I was really dissappointed when it went encrypted. Took me ages to get over it :-(
