  • Hmm another crossfit exercise that confirms my usual suspicion about how crossfit is intended to work. Unlike normal skipping the jumper cannot complete the exercise with a vertical posture so he/she has to keep lifting their knees up. This interrupts the normal breathing pattern and the athlete quickly starts to hyperventilate. CO2 levels drop, vasoconstriction sets in, eventually rhaebdo will send you to the hostile or kill you. Lucky for you the workouts are quick.

  • Yes, he can do double unders but he still over pikes toward the front in my opinion.   • @w1shEX since when does taking a second to find a suitable surface to jump on cost 10K. I was just speaking from my own experience. Jumping on concrete rattles your ankles and knees if your doing 30 minutes of skipping as I do when in training, and double unders are hardest cos more impact. Personally I get sore. Even if you dont get sore its not good long term.

  • @1988acid exactly, he needs to minimize that and try to use his calves more. your menisci can only absorb so much before they start to tear and/or "erase" away.

  • been practicing for a few months, can do 250 in 10 min, but still can't do more than 16 in a row.

  • Feels like alternating DUs are amazing cardio killer already,non stop DUs might mean some lovely heart attack,l guess.

  • I most is 12 so far, grr so frustrating when it comes to a crossfit workout and everyone is flogging out 30 or 40 and your doing 3 or 4 at a time. One day.

  • @Beatbyawhiteboy Keep it up man. I've been jump roping for a bout a month or so. I could do maybe ONE double under, certainly not 3 in a row. I'm just now getting to where I can do multiples of 20. One huge benefit I've noticed from jumping rope is that my vertical has *greatly* increased.
