Impersonators work in a very small and thankless environment for the most part. Very few will ever make a living chasing contest to contest and VFW show to VFW show. Whoever they are, give them the credit they deserve for at least entering the race. Most people, will always sit on the sidelines acting as judge and jury.
No doubt Trent is a fantastic impersonator. Ego's will make us look really stupid if they get the best of us. I doubt he is a "Legend" among impersonators, being that there is only one legend, Elvis himself. Neither Trent, nor Shawn nor Doug etc., will ever know what it's like to get mugged signing autographs walking into a Walmart. They will never know what it's like to be themselves while they perform or to hear themselves on the mainstream radio programs singing, "their own songs".
I just saw him this week in Vegas, and guess what??? He was Very good. He needs a bigger stage, but he does a good show, and also, had a band!!!, sounds like somebody on this post is very jealous I also talked to him after the show, and he was very nice, not like he is being described above.
Oh yeah, he owes tons of money in back child support and was actually arrested and put in jail for this several months ago.

Actually, Justin Shandor is the best Elvis impersonator in the world. It used to be johnny harra in the 70's. Even shandor's voice is better than doug church. Shandor was mentioned by graceland as having the closest elvis voice and the near deadringer look to match. most of the magazines and tv advert

I saw him in 2004 in Laughlin at The Riverside Casino and he put on one helluva good show and he was very:polite,sweet, and funny and I think he's hot! Have you ever meet Trent? He says a his show "I'm Not Elvis I'm here to keep his memory alive" There's is noone else better than Elvis. So I say ask Trent to if he said this before you post this up next time.
I saw Trent in concert 3 times when i travelled over there and well worth my money. He is friend unconditionally. Christine /Australia

Please remember ALL ETA's do this to keep Elvis' memory alive in their own way. Trent won't say he is better than Elvis. Go to his show and hear what he really says. I am friend to Trent unconditionally also love Doug Church in the same way. Have you asked Trent what was really said? If he did then so it has to be said here if not please enjoy yout won ?ETA

Why? Well, despite cruel, deliberate editing, the fact is Carlini did say his motto is: "to be better." And if he is better, why the flat notes? And why not go on as Trent Carlini, rather than "the king"? He tried this, remember,with his sister and the crowd did not receive him well at all. I was there. He's more the bad-dream king! simply put: Doug Church sounds the best, and Klush looks far more natural.

You are a fucking ass hole Trent Carlini is one of my best freinds and has helped me so much with my career and he didnt say he wants to be better than Elvis the edited out like that Trent loves Elvis as do I and he would never do anything to go agents Elvis. Why in the hell would you post that if you dont have anything better to do than cut down others than you need to get a life untill your perfect dont judge others he won get over it

Actually, Justin Shandor is the best Elvis impersonator in the world. It used to be johnny harra in the 70's. Even shandor's voice is better than doug church. Shandor was mentioned by graceland as having the closest elvis voice and the near deadringer look to match. most of the magazines and tv advert
