  • Again another useless expedition that has no results....typical crap every year....

  • @TomCody1 So sorry you felt the need to leave such a poor comment. This video isn't advertised as an expedition "results" video. It was posted simply to show how useful something like a GEN 3 scope can be during nighttime surveillance. We thank you anyway for your comment and hope your day gradually gets better.

  • @TomCody1 If its the same crap every year then why do you watch it....every year? And he said it was a test. to SquatchInc

I am a little disappointed in the Gen 3, it doesnt look like its much better than my Gen 1. It appears that the 3 watt IR light source worked the best but at a limited range. Does the IR show a red source light from the LED? mine does, so much for stealth.

  • @maxybob Yes, the IR units we were using were in the 850nm range and do emit the soft red glow so that is one of the negatives. I think the unit we tested would work great for long range surveillance by simply adding a zoom lense to the unit in accordance with the IR spotlight.. The glow from the spotlight is almost non-existent and from 100yds would be virtually undetectable.

I do think the unit in the video could produce better results if we worked on the aperture settings more.

  • apparently good for spotting ufo's as well as bigfeet...

  • can stuff when are you go to use then in the field to find a bigfoot , by the way niice music .
