@wheel5800 - Hi Steve, yes I was traveling south. I should have made a northbound video as well. I've used the Quail spelling (Matahourua) for the video BTW, but everyone else seems to think its Matahorua, so I'm not sure which is right.
Thank you for doing the excellent video of the old gorge road, my wife and I were going to go up there from Napier this week to have a look at the new road.
I will take some video of the road works and see if I can take some of the new bridge.
If it comes out okay I will download it onto here for all to see.
Ovbviously a good camera mount. And no damned campervans - unlike February 2011.
