1. Have a player horizontally off-screen (aka without jumping above)

2. Have projoctiles stay after being off screen

3. Zooming in and out.

4. Multi-tiered stages.

Some of the other amazing stuff CAN be done with some VERY serious programming that are meant built for both characters as a set around each other. But it'd be VERY difficult and hasn't been done cause its not worth it.

Street fighter aint gay, even though that ending sux, Street fighter waas first and set the standard for almost all fighters, And pretty much Started the idea of special Moves, Not just melee attacks, Plus Ryu would of won his reason of losing was here 1:32 , he Ran into the Fireball With Scorpion, thus hurting him self even worse, cause Scorpion can take pain due to him not being Human, Then scorpion gets up and beats the shit out of him Easily, while ryu is hurt.
