  • That is high caliber turn of foot from High Chaparral, I have seen Redwood track side and he is stunning to look at also. High Chaparral was a great race horse and turning into a great sire also, just like his brother Galileo.

  • High Chaparral had really become a very formidable sire in Europe. He has a superstar son in the form of So You Think. Who's won nearly every major G1 stakes in Australia, and is now racking up G1 stakes win's in Europe as well. High Chaparral also sired Redwood. Who's become a very good middle distance horse in his own right. He's also the sire of Wigmore Hall. Who's very good on his day over 10f.

  • What a horse!!! Kinane is Top jockey as well....

  • Fair enough,he did'nt win the Arc,neither did Nijinsky who was the best of his time,by the way,High Chaparral won the Irish Derby which is right-handed.

  • Theres a downhill section 2 1/2F out at Longchamp which High Chaparral couldnt handle because of his bad right shoulder.

  • couldnt win the arc though..

  • couldnt run right handed

  • 2002 was a golden year for Irish horses what a champion High Chaparral, I saw the Irish Derby, when he came into the parade ring there was a gasp he looked so good

  • High Chap was my fav flat horse of all time, Derby, champion stakes and 2 Breeders cups. Brilliant

  • Wow what a burst of speed, very exciting but "Oz never did give nothin to the Tin Man that he didn't all ready have."

  • I have never seen a horse respond to such vigrous riding over and over again, he was all heart and thats why i love him!

  • Ditto...so many interesting races. High Chaparral was easily the best Epsom Derby winner of recent years. He was always better going right-handed.

  • Thanks for your suppport as well, sachauista. Very kind of you. Take care.

  • Thats a fair call but I still think that the other Aidan O'Brien inmate Galelio was a more impressive Derby winner. 2 awesome horses though.

  • left-handed.

  • Congrats on vid # 100!

Always a treat seeing With Anticipation in action.

  • Thanks a lot, partymanners. I appreciate it. Take care.
