@IIVCloudxRisingVII mirror's edge parkour is easier. in assassin's creed, I go to jump onto something, and the douche just jumps in the opposite direction. I notice a lack of that happening in this game.

@IIVCloudxRisingVII Oh man, that was a funny comment. I hate FPS games yet the FP style to this game is what made it unique because, well...it's not a shooter thankfully. This game really puts you into the character and has some of the most appealing graphics I have ever seen. I just picked this up for $10 and it is simply one of the coolest games ever made.

You guys realize mirrors edge isn't as good a game as you make it sound. It was an alright game, not worth 4 stars though this is like a 3/5 maybe. There is much better games out then this. But for a parkour game it's very good.

didn't think that much of the game but the music, particularly the ambient pieces, let me drift into a pleasant hypnosis, i preferred looking round the city while listening to the tunes than runnin around and missing it all.

I think mirrors edge kickz ass to lol. Brink is just like it but it doesnt have everything that mirrors edge does thus its incomplete and not 5 star like mirror is.

I can just feel the sunlight on top of a perfectly white buildings rooftop, no wind, no clouds, only the dangerous heights with the warm sunlight. Damn this game is underrated, in a design way. Everything is so damn clean and freshly painted in that game, without being heavy on the computer. The music is really amazing.

@Yuruia I'm right there with you, both on the feeling and the opinion on the game. I have never had an experience in a game quite like ME, and I get it every time I go back to play it. There's this stillness that comes over me that I can also feel when I hear the soundtrack. I see the rooftops, the paths, the obstacles...

Apparently, while playing videogames, the player sometimes shifts into a total dream-state as if they physically are the character within the game. Mirror's Edge is the best example of this, and I'm sure we've all felt that feeling.
