If anyone wants to know the measurements, to the first line is 1 cup. To the second line is an additional 1/3 cup. To the third line is 1/2 cup. I bought a venti passion tea lemonade, brought the cup home, and got the measurements. (:
Not trying to be like, a troll or something but do you live in utah?? im sorry haha. i love this tea lemonade it looks sooo good i cant wait to try it!
@JoshuaaRuless I doubt it. When she says fill to the first line, that is one cup. When she says fill to the second line, that's an additional 1/3 cup. When she says fill to the third line, that's 1/2 cup. I don't know how many onces that is, but I know you can make it if you find a cup that will hold it all. (:
This was a great recipe. I couldn't find the Tazo Passion where I went but I got some Pomegranate Green Tea and did your recipe using that and it worked wonderfully. Yummy. Thanks for figuring that out.
Not to scare you or anything but those cups contain BPA plastic that can after time seep into your drink and make you sick. This type of cup is for one use only. The best option is to get a BPA free container (Starbucks actually sells BPA free cups that look exactly like the clear ones :D). Hope that helps! Thanks for the great video- you've already saved me 12 bucks this week!
Oh and the marks on the cup correspond to those on their shaker. We fill tea concentrate to bottom line, water or lemonade to the third line, 6 pumps for venti and ice to the top!
lmao ZERO dislikes. oh and instead of spending money on really expensive liquid sweeteners, yall can make it at home. just get out x amount of sugar and put it in a microwave safe bowl, then add just enough water to saturate it can disolve when heated. nuke it till it becomes a liquid. you can go to sally beauty supplies to buy one of those pumps that are used for shampoo. i would just use the powdered sugar, but they add cornstarch to it which leaves a funny taste.
You, ma'am are a genius! im impressed, you just dont know! There are so many recipes that ive looked for on the net, and of course one has to sort through the bull (a lot of it) to find out the real ones. your vid was the first recipe/video that i looked at when searching this recipe and it was dead on. i just prefer the sugar instead of the splenda... lol so thankyou for not pissing me off!
I am in loooovvvvee with PTL and I work in a store that has a SB in it so it's very tempting for me to always buy them thank you spool much for posting taste great and my wallets happy fo sho! :)
Thank you so much for posting this! I am in love with PTLs but they were murder on my wallet. I used the Trop50 lemonade for a little less sugar and really liked the end result- thanks again!
I tried this and I can say this taste very similar to the one that Starbucks make. The only differences is the home made version is actually a bit stronger while Starbucks is a little bit more sweeter.
Thank you so much for posting this! I'm sick of spending almost 4 bucks a few times a week for tea (even though it's so good). I'm off to buy supplies now!
Starbucks has the Plastic tumbler that look just like those cups and they are super steardy and cost about $15 :) thanks for the video Im going to try one today!
i love watching these because i work at starbucks. the ratios are different depending on drinks. the bottom line was recently added for the new way we make frappuccinos. the top line to the top of cup is normally the amount of ice we're told to use. but on our shaker we actually split the ratio of tea & lemonade in half so that both parts are equal. you can always request less ice & get more tea or whatever you want. but i make this & other drinks at home too because i cant afford it.
@valpack07 Oooh, so I was at least close in assuming the lines were actually for something then? LOL, very cool! I wonder if the way I make it calls for less lemonade because it's so damn strong? I think if I used equal parts on the kind I use it would taste like ass. Ha ha. Thank you for your feedback!
does the lines on the cup work with the grande size

do you have measurements for a grande size?
MissBug1986 4 months ago in playlist Cooking
And for the loose tea bags you use we would use 6 tea bags if we ran out of the actual normal tea bag
