  • The description states the"how to properly install vinyl..." This might lead people to believe that this is the only way. In fact, there are many ways to install vinyl fence. In different parts of the country, there are different ways that are preferred due to soil and frost differences. There are better ways though, check out the Straight N Level system. Faster, easier, stronger, and proven in Canada for over 13 years.

  • Your Video shows wood post's and I am working with a home owner who bought post's and panels from your store and saw this video and is convinced it need's wood, but the instructions mention nothing about wood post's and the play inside is 1 and a quarter inch, what is the problem??inch and a quarter play?? the screws are too small to hit the inside post's and I cant convince her this is the post's that don't need insert's

  • also... big box store vinyl fence is junk, it will fall apart, doesnt flow with the contour of the ground and just plain looks crappy.

  • We put up one of these white vinyl fences (150 feet) 3 years ago and it still looks great. It's clean and easy to wash, no priming, painting or staining. I don't know why you think it looks crappy. Looks beautiful and holds up very well even with the high winds we get around here. Provides a nice privacy wall and just hose it down to clean it up. Can't be easier than that.

  • @johnbarrell im sure you are happy with your fence as you most likely did it yourself. as a professional builder though it is not something i would build for a customer. the vinyl materials i use are professional grade with holes routed into the posts for the rails to slide and lick into ( no brackets ) as well as the panels adjust to flow with the contour of your yard so there is no stair stepping of the panels going down or uphill. for close to the same price as you payed for yours.

  • This practice is common on commercial and industrial fence installations. You just want to be careful about how thin your concrete mix is. In the southern regions of the us, code may require a gravel drainage and sloping the top of the concrete to deal with the heavy rainfall but in the northern regions like where im from it will cause you problems. Leave the concrete 3-4 inches below ground or else your post will frost heave. The concrete will hold the post plumb as well without any braces.

  • as a professional fence builder for 11 years i can tell you that we do not use gravel at the bottom of the holes for several reasons. number 1, if you do this, over time the weight of the concrete and post on top will make it settle and your fence will sink in spots and look bad, number 2, chances are the concrete is going to mix with the gravel anyways. What i like to do is set the post in concrete then lift the post 4 - 6 inches so that it is floating in the concrete.

  • Because some installers are cheap and dont care if yourfence doesnt last as long as in could.

  • After 10 years of effort, we successfully developed the most advanced "Wall Shuttle"in the world and got patented . With one person operation and automatic movements , which could be widely used for paint brush , wall polishing and cleaning (including glass curtain walls, glass, etc.), wallpaper removal, wallpaper stick , wallpaper paste and so on.

  • Why does some installers use gravel and others do not? My installer is using the cement mix but no gravel.
