This is why I love living in Michigan! This place is only a good 30 minutes from me no matter how old I get I think I will always love going!! Maybe I should plan a trip soon =D
I love the Henry Ford Museum so much. I don't know why you don't hear about it more. Everyone should go if they get a chance. Henry Ford was an absolute genius when it came to preservation. He had a vision and the money to make it come true. My mom still talks about riding in a Model T and being "THISCLOSE" to the car JFK was shot in. I loved the one-room schools, the George Washington Carver House, and Thomas Edison compound. I ♥ the story of his chair&the fire Herbert Hoover himself started
