  • hey i just built one of these with almost the same homelite engine but i was wondering when you just pedal to start like in your test run videos do you just leave the choke off or do you warm it up first? PLEASE REPLY

  • can you buy these?

  • I just bought a 26cc engine, but im not sure how to mount the whole engine, seeing i dont have a welder

  • @BarraKing93 i bolted everything.

  • GSRGOPEDRIDER247 thanks dude i just bought a 28cc weedeater and a 16 inch bike. getting ready to build it.

  • Does spindel drive work well or is chain drive better

  • @wweraw5678 no doubt chain drive is better but i prefer spindle drive because of it's simplicity and they are cheap & easy to make. i never had a problem with this bike, it worked excellent the years i had it. you can really thrash them and they'll keep going. only advantage is you can ride when its wet with a chain drive but chain drives aren't as reliable IMO. check out my other videos, especially "25cc to 30cc conversion, test run" ---> on the suggestions list to the right. they really go!

  • where can i get this pipe? How much was it?

  • @GPMAX01 i bought it new from a guy off gopednation for about $35 shipped, i sold it for $30 or something like that.

  • yoooo, i have the same engine, i need help ! how did you attach the spinal to it??????

  • @CRoth1124 usually they bolt onto the shaft. ( inline with it )

  • cool bike

  • @duncan33984 thanks!

  • is there a noticable power band with the tuned pipe?

  • @333JIMB0333 this set-up here in this video was terrible, the stock carb doesn't allow the motor to reach max rpm's and actually makes it perform worse with the pipe. i put a wa-167 hp carb on it, and i also added a 30cc head, then they're was a huge difference. no real kick power-band with the j-pipe, just a very noticeable difference in power. very smooth and powerful. we also tried another pipe, it made it 3mph faster than the j-pipe, but wasn't as smooth and powerful acceleration.

  • i want to make something similar to this. im thinking of buying a cheap weedeater or chain saw and doin this. does this just start up by bump start? is this thing street legal? also if i used a chainsaw it would be sooo much better because there would be a clutch and it would have more power

  • @pimpinpenz i gps'd mine at 29.1mph and 32.3 (different pipes) with mods, this video is near stock minus the exhaust. i would stick to weedeaters, they're reliable, mod-able, and simple! it starts by bump start, and yes, the cops said i needed a moped license or license, which i have so i'm legal. also, the clutches aren't made for the weight of a person...

  • @pimpinpenz ive made a chainsaw bike but expect more work than a wwedeater bike i took mine apart right now for painting i have the primer on there im going to let it cure for a week lol then ill go with a nice coat of gloss black then followed by a clear coat

  • holy shit that engine needs tuning!

  • i want to make one of those.. I have a 25cc homelite zip start and i want to do the same setup you have with the spindel and all. I know how to do everything exept how do get the throttle cable up to my bars and all.. Help??

  • @EasternEb58 you need a longer mountain bike type cable, and such. check my latest videos i think i show my throttle setup

  • @GSRGOPEDRIDER247 Ok thanks, ill try to find the vid but maybe you could post a link?

  • I like your setup , but the pipe isn't big enough for that engine . I sounded like it was being held back . If you mod that engine right , it will rev great all the way to the top end . I modded a couple engine for scooterdave a few yrs ago , he really liked them .

  • @chipbreakr i think it's my carb, i've got the high jet all the way out. you run a wa167 right? since i'm cheap do you think adding a carb from a craftsman 31cc or bolens 31cc will run better? i've got one lying around i may try.

  • Is that spindle driven??

  • @HondaCRF150Rider yes, socket driven. i used a 3/4 drive socket for the spindle.

  • @GSRGOPEDRIDER247 sweet! I was just wondering because im planning on making something similar. Does the back tire wear out pretty quickly??

  • @HondaCRF150Rider nope, i have a kenda on there... soft compound tires will get eaten up quick... kenda's are great.

  • @GSRGOPEDRIDER247 Sick!!

  • @HondaCRF150Rider i'll post a video up of my new silencer, that is once it warms up! it's been in the teens, that's wayy to cold!
