Say, just responding to a few comments...I'm not out to talk down on rappers for samplng at all. I'm just tryin' to show a couple people where the original shit came from, that's all. I love all these tracks. So please go on with the nonsense. just kick back & sipp some
Hip-Hop songs are PRODUCED by the PRODUCERS. Producers were once DJ's. You know what DJ's did that was in their job descriptions? They sampled so, for some of the people saying that they're taking the music for themselves are just complete dumb asses. They were once DJ's, that's what they do. Big surprise? I think not.
Most of this could, ironically enough, be traced back to the Beastie Boys. I say ironically because on their first LP they took as many samples as they could slapped them together, threw on some whimsical, slick, silly lyrics, allllll in the name of being facetious. And it just went down hill from there, being over ran to pander to the lowest common denominator.
I love rap(hip-hop, whatever you want to call it) but I do admit, it is horribly lazy to take someones song and just rip a bar and make it your song. Regardless of the SWAG (what an ignorant, overplayed word these days) they supposedly put in it. And not only are the majority to lazy to actually create an original beat, you know, like a real musician (?), the lyrics are usually just as flippin bad. I and I seriously mean that, I could write better rhymes than half these idiots out there
@SippinCoughee At everyone who says sampling isnt creative not liking the style is one thing but when u dislike it for such a wrong reason is not cool lol
@bkmark18 I agree man, sampling is an art form. It shows how musically intelligent an artist is. It sends chills up my spine when I hear an excellently sampled piece of music.
Very very nicely done as always, but I gotta nitpick just a bit- the last track you put on, Choosy Lovers, was an obvious one to anyone who's a diehard Bone Thugs fan: Buddha Lovers! :)
youre not exposing anything...its called sampling....thats how hip hop started...people didnt start wit fantom keyboards and mpc's...they hooked turn tables to sound recorders and sampled oldies and soul music....no disrespect to you...but sampling itself is givin credit where credit is due
Nice Vid mayne, but I wouldn't really call it exposing like it says on the description, since all they do was use the sample, its not like they stole the lyrics, now that really would be exposing.

...its called " SAMPLING a beat " get a fu**ing grip...
some ppl say its cheap and not creative but personally
i think its much creative and is an art form
-- when u sample a beat and DONT make it your own ( with your Flavor/Taste/Swagg/Style ) THEN thats cheap and a shame ..
