okayy, guys really whats with the whole blonde/brunette clash thing?? its a hair color; and ACTUALLY, in the books no physical description is given on Aphrodite, so you can imagine her anyway you like :) i prefer her as a brunette, i mean i think everyone no matter what hair color is equally beautiful, but if you make aphrodite a blonde, it gives off the impression that hey, blondes are dumb and conceited etc. but if she has dark hair, that factor wont be there, they'll just see HER :)

Techinally, Aphrodite doesn't have parents, in most stories at least.

She came out of the sea, so you could consider her Poseidon's daughter.

My point is, though I really, really dislike any form of insest, they don't have much of a choice. Yes, there is humans, but humans are mortal and die. So, they have no choice but to be with relatives. O.o
