Circumcision in fact, reduces the possibilities of STDs ! Its a FACT in a report by a group of German scientist.
50% less chance of Herpes.
And a significantly lower percentage of acquiring AIDS. I'll look for the report and pass it.

There are two types of decisions: (a)decisions that can be changed and (b)decisions that are permanent. The trauma of infant circumcision gets buried in the subconscious, unresolved. It is not just "forgotten". Infant circumcision is an abuse of power.

You are right. The trauma is never forgotten, although it can be buried very deeply. Events in one's life may "trigger" this trauma causing much emotional distress that the person cannot resolve because they don't know where it is coming from. Exactly WHAT triggers it varies from one person to another as well as their emotional state. Some deal with it better than others. Some retreat, some get outwardly aggressive, again it is different for different people.

If phibins cried for only 15 seconds, this is because it took him that long to faint. And it is not conscious memory of trauma that is cause for concern but the subconscious effects.
But why force a quite unnecessary operation, which does carry some risks, on a helpless baby? Or why deprive him of perfectly healthy and sexually functional tissue for no valid reason? We Europeans aren't circumcised, and we're perfectly happy not to be - no plans afoot to re-introduce it to the UK!

Why is it in 1980 when the Australian version the AAP said "circumcision is bad, don't do this!", the Aussie's stopped almost immediately? But it's taken an entire generation to get the national circ rate down to 55%? How can circumcising parents be so ignorant and negligent in an Internet age????? It's just wrong to inflict this innocent human beings.

The amazing thing is that not much more than 10 years after that pronouncement, the rates of circumcision in Australia were well under 20%. Other countries that had picked up abandoned it faster, more completely, and earlier still. Yet here in the US nearly 35 years later we are still struggling with this problem. It is difficult to under stand why.

It was absolute torture to a degree that I had previously unknown or even thought possible. And, it was the real memory, verified by the recollection of details that I could not have known otherwise. I hope that you too get to re-experience it with memory recovery, THEN come back and tell us about it..

That is just IT. You BELIEVE! Does not make it fact. I know what I saw/felt during the recall. It was REAL, and I saw details previously unknown to me. I too, did not believe all of it. But when I recalled it, it caused me to start researching the subject because what I experienced was "too hard to believe" and I had to know the truth. Truth is, my recall matches what you see in the "circumcision videos" done by doctors. It IS torture and mutilation. Took a while for me to accept that too.

Good video! Thank God we Europeans stopped performing infant circumcisions decades ago! In Australia, not many boys get cut today. The trend is down in Canada too. The growing consensus is that circumcising a guy without his consent is unethical, as of course is female genital mutilation.
