This is probably Keith Obermann's best commentary. Even though he goes over the top too often, he is right that the Republicans used

the September 11, 2001 attacks as a political tool; and the terrorists as a political tool.

They shouldn't have used a replay of the attacks; and showing it in a "respectful" manner is a very phony ploy. If they wanted to be respectful, they should not have shown it at all, or even used it as a reference in the context of getting votes.

Clinton didn't learn from these people as he could have taken out Bin Laden but chose to do nothing but leave it to the next administration to clean up.
