Soupy Sales, Lucille Ball (I LOVE...), Captain Kangaroo and Mr. Green Jeans were the SOUNDTRACK of my childhood. Thank you for this wonderful trip back in time!!!
without knowledge of Cal Worthington I thought "Nothington" may have been Soupy's "tribute" to Huntington, WV (?) - - Many Thanks from countless millions Soupy --- RIP
I was living in San Diego 1977-1978 and would see commercials for Cal Worthington Ford on tv. He would always have his dog "spot" with him which could be anything from a cow to a wild cat this is Soupy's take-off af that car dealer commercial.
very entertainin. Ill be back..

Watched "Cal Worthington and his dog, Spot" (which could be any kind of animal) commercials on Hawaiian tv in '77-'78.
Soupy was the best!

I'd run home from school to watch this show. What do kids have these days? Captain Planet?

Cal Worthington is still selling cars and doing commercials here in the LA area. He actually rode a hippo once. A real old time huckster.

That sexist bit with the busty woman was an even bigger stinker than Soupy's toy skunk.

There ain't a Ford Falcon or a Dodge Coronet on the whole damn lot!
It's a funny sketch - Soupy was a pisser! Classic comedy - I love it!

wow, it's almost unbelievable how bad this show is. especially with soupy sales being so likable and all. but christ, it's basically unwatchable.
