Well, humanity will most likely become endangered from overpopulation. Next year, we're due for 7 billion people on Earth. By 2051, we're due to have 14 billion people. By 2091, 28 billion! He wrote that about every forty years, the population size doubles and he also said that even if humanity began to colonize other planets, it still wouldn't be enough to save our species from overpopulation. My faith is by no means weak, but my responsibilities as a Christian is to defend my faith, even if it mean exposing the fundamental flaws that some science has to offer. Science is subject to Laws, and it is in science that I find "gaps", not in the Laws. And if showing how the laws supports my faith and how they denounce your beliefs makes me foolish, then foolish I shall be.

And you say that science can not tell what was before the creation, but I say to you that the first law of thermodynamics states that energy can be changed from one form to another, but cannot be created or destroyed. I challenge you to offer one shred of evidence that these theories are nothing more than a claim, or an idea of how it might have happened. Everyone bashes Intelligent design, but yet they base these theories on flimsy ideas with no hard evidence to back it up. Take the big bang for instance, though believed by many, they cannot explain WHY it happened, and they can't explain why one end of the universe has the same content as the other end. In chaos, on end should differ from the other.
Now you know the flaw in your logic. In order for anyone to find your beliefs credible, you must provide evidence in favour of them before it matters whether or not anyone has "disproved" them.
The problem is, I have mountains of scientific evidence that this universe HAD to be created, and not random, because the many things that are in it's order now all have to coincide with each other for life to be formed, But unless there is a physical body, some people just won't believe.

Change happens very slowly, but if you look over the period of human history, we've made progress towards civility. It's amazing people can live together in places as densely populated as we do. He wrote that about every forty years, the population size doubles and he also said that even if humanity began to colonize other planets, it still wouldn't be enough to save our species from overpopulation. There's a sense of urgency when scientists talk about space colonization. The dangers we face as a civilization are so glaring and immediate, that I feel we'll kill ourselves off in the next hundred years rather than move on.
Many countries are being run by people who embrace armageddon as some sort of proving ground for who has the most faith. We'll either all die, or blast ourselves to the stone age.

There are countless examples where theories are formed, shaped, and changed, but never backed up with evidence, just as the birth of the universe. They say they can age the universe by measuring the expansion rate of the universe because it is consistent, and yet they turn around and say they can only see 100k light years from our planet.

Even though there are problems with the big bang theory, it does nothing whatsoever to give any credence to the absurd notion of intelligent design. Even if big bang was totally disproved it does not give ID any credibility scientifically because ID is 'supernatural' and so cannot be tested. All you have is a 'god of the gaps' notion, where you try to use some idea of god to plug any gaps in your knowledge, which is a redundant and wholly useless ploy without any merit whatsoever.

My faith is by no means weak, but my responsibilities as a Christian is to defend my faith, even if it mean exposing the fundamental flaws that some science has to offer. Science is subject to Laws, and it is in science that I find "gaps", not in the Laws. And you say that science can not tell what was before the creation, but I say to you that the first law of thermodynamics states that energy can be changed from one form to another, but cannot be created or destroyed. If you really, honestly believe in the christian god of the bible, there is a simple and almost scientific test you can try to see if it's really true. According to the bible, Mark 16:18, if a true believer drinks poison or some damaging liquid then their faith will protect them from harm. So drink a bottle of bleach and let me know how it goes.

I challenge you to offer one shred of evidence that these theories are nothing more than a claim, or an idea of how it might have happened. Everyone bashes Intelligent design, but yet they base these theories on flimsy ideas with no hard evidence to back it up. Take the big bang for instance, though believed by many, they cannot explain WHY it happened, and they can't explain why one end of the universe has the same content as the other end. In chaos, on end should differ from the other.
