Sanhitaji, you have wonderful voice. It seems you know the best use of your lofty voice. There is lot of patience and peace. I wish you a grand success.
Often western listeners use the word haunting while responding to Indian music. I wonder if it the presence of microtones or the use of combinations of tones unfamiliar to western listeners that makes them use the word haunting. Or is it the the presence of a constant Tonic and harmonics through the Tanpura or the use of Deergha Viraam on special notes that seems haunting to their ears? For me the words would be soulful, sincere, Bhaava-filled, raaga-accurate, showing devoted sadhnaa, etc.
@Chenfahui , the lyrics can't be heard so easily. it's more about the sound and melodie- i'm indian and still have to listen very hard to understand the lyrics. starts with "more manwa" = "my mind"
Stupendous rendition of Saraswati! Being an admirer of your music for the past year, I am not surprised by the brilliance of this recording. A few thoughts on your music. Not only does your technical virtuosity shine through in your music, but you have an ability to touch the heart of the most casual listener with your depth of feeling and thought, intensity and that magnificent voice. And you do this without compromising on your vision of your music, which seems to be the trend nowadays.

Your music is beautiful. One of your students (Vishal) recommended I listen to it and I am entranced. It is so haunting!

you must do more publishing of this voice, It is too rare to be kept to herself. Spread it. It may even heal the world.

Has she listened to Shahida Parveen or Dr Prabha Atre at all? a clear purbi ang ravished with punjab ang seems evident to me?

This is great music,Vilambit renderings were excellent.
I was enjoying that, Sanhita's ji voice was deep -
touching my soul. It brings the instant mood to the raag
characteristics, and reminds me of the old mastero's.
