You and i don't live in the same political world it seems... In my world, the people who make "regulations" enabled everything you think is wrong or done to our ecology... you seem optimistic that that will change somehow. Your mercury filled lights are already and will continue to put in our earth and water more mercury, tons of it... because you buy into the propaganda like the majority of people who don't understand that buying something that saves energy is not the answer in this case.

I don't understand the Greenpeace propaganda about climate change... you people know better than anyone on earth I'll bet that a single volcano exploding puts into the atmosphere more particles than all the big industrial chimneys put together during the last 100 years. You people should be working against air/ground/water poisoning... not the advertised propaganda about climate change.

well volcanoes are a natural occourance! And our planet can cope with them! WE are choking the old girl to death so to speak! WE NEED TO STOP, THINK AND CORRECT OUR WAYS.

Because when our planet is destroyed, the human race will be the ones to suffer, and all the species that we share this world with!

Let me throw a few facts your way... First off 70% of the planet is water and the reaction to the sun's varying heat waves is the root cause of what is blamed on "Global Warming/Climate Change/what they use to say was an Ice Age coming in the '70's/Co² Cooling", the planet itself without any humans involved killed off 99.99% and created every living thing on it for billions of years... they pretty much all still exist but they are deeply rooted inside the DNA of different species.

I am starting to think that GreenPeace is not a planet loving orgagnisation at all... The root cause of what they protest are the Foundations who control the Corporations of the world. Do they attack the money system ? Do they give us examples of a non-polluting way of life like not going on boats, planes, cars, themselves ? No they don't and they tell us they do all that to help the planet out. Yeah right, give me a break.

The fact is that the planet would have killed off the Tigers wether humanity was there or not, just maybe a bit later instead of sooner. The same goes for the rest of what they advertise... like Co² is not a polluting factor, we exhale it... and it's what plants need to grow and be abundant. It doe's not make the planet colder or hotter. This is all a scam to make people feel guilty to be alive and to one day pass out a Co² tax on the entire world.

What amazes me is that SOME damned fools still think we don't have any effect when we dump so much of the stuff into the atmosphere!! Just your statement about volcanoes proves you actually have no idea GeofsFilms!

Sure its used by plants, but above certain densities it becomes toxic to plants! Study the science if you want to make informed comments.

First, your facts have been copy/pasted hundreds of times all over the web... what is the source ? Second, the planet isn't dying... that is propaganda again... the human race might be but the old girl will do just fine without us. Firstly.. those facts & figures have only been repeated by ME as far as I know and only about 10 times (by me anyway) when replying to fools who think volcanoes do more damage or even dummer fools who think that we don't have an effect on Co2 levels. Try New Scientist or geology sdsu edu

I don't remember saying the planet is dying? However if we continue with global burning it could turn Earth into a Venus-like planet! But of course some fools think thats ok because a slime mould will survive!

so there's your FACTS & besides here we have this beautiful planet with all its diversity of life & ecology & some damn fools think its okay to trash it for greed & over-consumption!

Lightbulbs are a perfect example. Thanks! If everyone used them we could save over 80% of present energy on domestic light! They can be manufactured to be safer by making them 100% recyclable & stronger so they don't 'break' so easily. Regulations can solve most of the minuses born of greed!

Say NO to COAL!

Say YES to RENEWABLE ENERGY (not nukes)!

Write to your political representatives and TELL them!

Move your energy account away from the dirtiest companies... so they realise they'll go bust if they don't change their ways!

I hope e-on are listening!

We NEED a Green New Deal NOW... it would create millions of jobs worldwide & tackle the pollution from our 'dirty' energy production at the same time!
