  • that was HORRIBLE

  • Hello Aaron Moon. Suck my balls.

  • @gaybash hahaha i laughed so hard at ur comment

  • Aaron, go back to school and learn something worth while. You are too old to be playing with your ding dong in public.

  • Pathetic.

  • As soon as he said to number, i started laughing like crazy. This guy has absolutely no clue to what he's doing.

  • Fair play, every expert village video I have ever seen has always been a load of shit. mate, you cant even maintain your own drum kit (Floor tom leg butts) let alone tune the fucking thing

  • wtf my 2 year old sister can teach how to tune a drum better than this guy what a dumbass dude if ur gonna post something on youtube, make it worth watching!!

  • nice stock head. thanks for acting out the instructions found on a box of evans head that you obviously didnt buy

  • lame,

  • this cannot be serious AT ALL

  • bull shit

  • what the....

  • that told me... everything I already knew

  • after watching this I feel like im less of a drummer...........

  • well that was fucking bollocks

  • anyone notice that the the rubber foot on the right side floor tom leg is missing?

that combined with the taped, cracked and ruined head = fail.

  • yh lol.. i can now knowingly say all expert village videos on drums are shit, and I can only encourage further hate demonstrations for these crappy video drum lessons

  • maybe he was hoping to accidentally stab himself.

  • if anyone wants good tuning tips go to bob gatzens videos, way better than this crap

  • Oooooooooooooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhh Bob Gatzen!!! <3

  • @mabla1000 I concure

  • I highly recommend Bob Gatzen. Use his OTT technique (Opposite Tension Tunging) rather than carrot top's brother's suggestion. Expert Village fucking sucks. All this guy is showing us, is how he tunes his broken, cracked, moon-gelled head. Expert Village sucks!!!!!!!!!!

  • Bob Gatzen knows how to get tuning done, and get it done right. I would recommend his channel, bobgatzen, to all drummers. Beginner, and advanced.

  • lolzor, did carrot top's brother's self esteem died??

  • lmao Carrot Top

  • lmaooo this made me laugh

  • I thought he was going to tune the drum , not tape it

  • what is this fire crotch talking about, hes so dumb he explained absolutely nothing in this video? what a waist of time

  • WTF????

  • idiot!

  • he might sound like it but his kit is an absolute amazing majesty of sound. check it out he's awesome

  • respect experience kid

  • lmfao

  • Man! Oriasis is Right!! Thanks Oriasis i learned a lot from Bob Gatzen!! hes awesome!! men expert village teaches only what we already know XD

  • What a dipfuck. He has absolutely no clue what he is doing.

  • lol...dipfuck....thats a nice 1

  • Ummmmm. So... where's the part where he teaches floor tom tuning?

  • I go to Bob Gatzen for all my drum care/tuning advice and instruction!

Expert Village is a complete joke.

    -Neville

  • ye me too lol, it should be amateurvillage

  • why are expertvillage videos always done by people who clearly aren't experts?

maybe expertvillage is just an advertising revenue scam!?

  • Was he cutting meat and then all of a sudden he was like "Oh my god I fucking hate this resonant head! *stabs* Shit, now it sounds even worse."

  • expertvillage and this guy can suck my balls, this sucks!

  • try tighten all the bottom head then tune it on the facing side.. you'll have crispy sound like i.. my set is Gretsch Catalina Maple.. tell me if there is something wrong when you tighten all the bottom head..

  • I wouldn't even BEGIN to tune that tom until I replaced the bottom head. Any bottom head that has a dent plus a 3 inch slit in it obviously needs replacement.

  • There's no tone becaue its a pearl head. Fool boy.

  • can anyone tell please tell me why everytime i play my floor tom i get that buzzy sound off my snare? please help me coz its getting really annoying, thanks, can you also send the answer to my account? that would be really helpful, thanks very much

  • might wanna tighten the chain, but it's impossible to totally stop the buzzing/

dont tighten it too much cuz you'll get an ring/overtone from your snare.

  • you're getting the buzzing becasue the notes of your two drums are too close together. Lower the strainer on your snare, and strike both drums. I bet that you find that both are almost tuned to the same note. Usually this happens with a higher tom , more than a floor tom. This should solve your problem as it helped me out when I had the problem also.

  • sypathetic frequencies as mentioned above.

  • check that your snare wires are all straight (no bends in them). If you get one bent snare wire, its then looser then the rest so you will get that buzz. Also, check your drum and hoops for roundness and truency. Also, make sure you have even tension accross all lugs of the head.

  • go to bobgatzen channel, he has 2 videos about this

  • Haha. It's not because your drums are too close, I don't know what those people were thinking. It all has to do with the snare. Some snares will always rattle. Some snares are built correctly so the snare wires can rest on the head and not rattle. New snare wires could potentially help, and make sure that your current ones are on the drum correctly and flat.

  • thanx very much :D

  • sympathetic frequencies are the reason why you hear the snares rattle when another drum is hit. distance away is only ONE factor. snare drums have a snare bed tapered into the bearing edge that allows for snare wire contact across the entire length. tuning of other drums have a huge impact on the sympathetic snare vibrating when the snare drum has not been hit.
