  • First class film. The comparison between balistic tips and soft point ammo was both informative and interesting

  • An inch is 25.4mm therefore the group is 0.6" at 100.

  • Good video, but I am amazed that the commentator thinks that 14.8mm is 'about an inch'. I shoot Norma brass in my six different calibres - it IS the very best there is, no doubt about it.

  • Great show Charlie, keep it up.

  • absolutely bloody brilliant

  • .223 are legal for shooting Roe deer in Scotland and so is the .222 I think the minimum is a 50 grain bullet. For all other species it a minimum of a .240 there is different legislation for deer legal calibres in the UK.

  • great episode charlie just shows youy can produce a good show without the same people you use all the time very interesting look foward to more new episodes

  • 223 allso killed roe deer ,fallow deer ,and hog deer.fron pk

  • Re my previous post, just copied this off the Basc website

    England and Wales

For Muntjac and Chinese Water deer only- a rifle with a minimum calibre of not less than .220 inches and muzzle energy of not less than 1000 foot pounds and a bullet weight of not less than 50 grains may be used.

For all deer of any species - a minimum calibre of .240 and minimum muzzle energy of 1,700 foot pounds is the legal requirement.

  • muntjac can be shot with a .223 but all bigger deer need a legal bigger calibre smallest being i think .240 centrefire

  • Is it not illegal shoot deer in the UK with a .223? I know it is here in Ireland.

  • when he said shoot a skittle i thourght he ment the little sweets lol
